June update: dropped out right away again. Back again. Limited time offer? No that sounds gross, and dumb.
To the moooooooooooon 🚀
Still not looking for relationships.
September update: Holy crap I'm back on here and wow this is outdated. I'm *not* looking for anything serious right now, just some fun, unless you have a husky then I will serious the shit out of you. But I'm... not going to edit all this. I think it'll be more fun to see it with old and new. I also promise to still be brutally honest to everyone who messages me. wheeeee
January '14 update: Gonna try something new -- gonna respond to every single message I get, no matter what. I'm not a fan of "write something creative" or "get my attention" caveats in profiles. Seems to me that's people hiding behind not wanting to offend someone else. So here's the deal: if you send me a message I promise two things: 1) to respond, and 2) to be brutally honest about what I'm thinking.
December '13 update: Reactivated my account now that I have some personal time again. I'm now responding a lot less often. Everyone on here is so nice but I am starting a company and to be straight I just really know what I want — here's the skinny:
- I actually don't read profiles really thoroughly, I like to get to know someone in person. If you're my type then let's skip all the chatting and meet for coffee.
- I surround myself with ambitious people. I want an ambitious partner. You don't need to be a rock climber (like everyone else on OKC) or a CEO. Ambition comes in many forms.
- I want a confident partner. I'm a firm believer in "Only when you're happy with yourself can you be happy in a relationship." And I realize age is not always a factor in knowing one's self.
Also feel free to say hi just because, or if something in my profile really piqued your interest. Just know that if you're not looking for a relationship we're probably not going to meet up.
Originally from Minnesota, moved to SF a few years ago and love every day in it. I moved to SF for the ocean, bay, and the startup scene and never looked back. I'll always love the Midwest but I consider SF my home.
I love my job, which makes life tough because I'm definitely a fan of traveling. I studied abroad in Greece, Turkey, China, and Japan in college and I still get out of the country at least once a year, whether to Spain, Thailand, or cheating by going to Hawaii.
