I have really been putting off writing this essay. Lots of people spend a good deal of time crafting the perfect profile with the hopes of attracting the perfect companion. It's a bit absurd isn't it?
Still, experiencing new people and finding someone to share life's intimacies with is a very good thing. So, this is something I have to do, like taking out the garbage on Sunday and Wednesday nites. Guess I could appeal to some Cyrano. Yea, here's an idea: "I'll advertise for a ghost writer!" There must be a lady or two on okCupid willing to get to know me and then write my profile. What could be better than a ghost-written profile?
Wait, wait a minute....I have a better idea. Maybe having an 'ex' write the profile would be more revealing? Yea, yea that's it- if nothing else then you would get the sympathy date. Potential matches would say: "He can't be as bad as all that. She must be a real ----(four letter word)!" How about a website devoted to matches made by peoples 'exes'(did I spell that right?).
Or I could have the neighbor down the street, the barista who makes my Grande Dragon at Starstruck every morning or the local friendly bartender(might be tip dependent) put pen to paper. You know what; maybe I'll just cool it for a while. Anyway, please contact me if you have any suggestions for my dilemma. And I’ll keep thinking about what I want to say. Slàinte.
