My self-summary
My name is Thomas.

I primarily want to date to relieve stress and get out of the house, and in the end, I'd like to meet someone who I can dump affection on without inhibition. I'm cuddly and fun, and I enjoy talking at length about whatever interests me, which includes most things.

Very little bothers me, and I'm good at finding stuff I like about people.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently studying software engineering at OSU. I will graduate in Spring of 2014.

I'm also working as a Senior Programmer at a small video game company, Multivarious Games.

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to try out my dream job before I graduate. Ideally, I will stay in Columbus and keep at it.
I’m really good at
I'm very passionate about computer science, and the history and human drama behind software development.

I love to look at video games as the immensely complex systems they are, and talk about their inner workings. We're entering an amazing era of interactive media, and I'm excited to be entering into the industry at this time.

I have a lot of interests and I'm good at dabbling in as many of them as I can.

I'm a good listener. I'm easy to get along with, and I'm witty and funny.
The first things people usually notice about me
These days, it would probably be my beard and longish hair.

Otherwise, either my lazy sense of fashion (I'm trying to change!) or else my communication abilities. I've sung in choirs and acted on stage, so I'm quite good at overcoming any nervousness I feel and acting extroverted in spite of my introversion.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy lots of books, I just don't have time to read them. I've been unironically reading various computer science textbooks for pleasure. Math and science books, when well-written, are great. I am a fan of authors such as Stephen King, Stephen Hawking, Tom Robbins, Douglas Hofstadter, Mark Danielewski, Isaac Asimov, George R. R. Martin, Robert Jordan, and lots more.

As for movies, I've been sorely deprived. There are two things I like: great movies, and absolutely shitty movies. Try to stay to the two extremes of quality, and I can almost guarantee I will enjoy it, no matter what it is.

I don't really watch TV. I don't have cable, and I can't be assed to browse Netflix. However, some shows I have seen and enjoyed include: The Office, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Mobile Suit Gundam stuff (the good, old stuff by Tomino) and old 90's and early 2000's cartoons and shows from my childhood.

I like almost all music, so I'm not even going to try to list anything. As long as you don't start playing generic country-western drawl and expect me to like it in anything but a joking manner, we're good.

Finally, food. I enjoy your greasy bits of Americana, and italian and asian food, primarily. Some german, some mediterranean, etc. It's usually not a big deal. I'll try almost anything.
The six things I could never do without

4. whatever

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Computer programming.

Dumb stuff.

Humanity and my place in it.

Finding a unique, interesting woman to love.

More dumb stuff.

Video game design.
On a typical Friday night I am
Homework. Unless there's anything better to do.

But usually homework.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I recently went on my very first date, ever. But when I admitted it to the girl in question, she was legitimately shocked, so I don't think it's actually an issue that will affect anything.

I'm also a virgin. But we don't live in Disney's Hocus Pocus, so that shouldn't matter, either. I have confidence. I'm also quite kinky, to be blunt, and it's a part of my personality that's rather important to me.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–26
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
If you think that I am probably a sad, no-life stereotypical gamer-boy because I make video games, you should message me so I can dispel that ridiculous notion.

If you want to cuddle up in front of a shitty movie with a goofy, nerdy boy, what the hell are you waiting for?

Hell, if anything I've said interests you at all, message me. I try to find cool people I like on here and elsewhere, but I can't find everyone, so feel free to reveal yourself and help me out. I promise I will respond to anyone eventually and give you, at the very least, as interesting of a conversation as I can muster.
