I'm a very relaxed person, I almost never worry, even if there is cause to. I grew up in NYC, and will maintain it is the greatest city on earth until I die. I was blessed by an Indian Guru as a child.

I am easy going, sarcastic, and brutally honest.

I just spent a year and a half doing Immunological research, however about 6 months into it I realized I couldn't make it a career, the work was too tedious, too plagued with failure, and most importantly too solitary. So what could I do with all this knowledge of the intricacies of life that didn't involve pipettes and test tubes? I decided to share that knowledge with others, and to teach instead. I applied, and got into, the NYC Teaching Fellows, and will be doing that this summer, then teaching in the new school year. Its an exciting time.

Science, Knowing random facts, biking, building camp fires, finding delicious holes in the wall to eat at, and fixing things

How easy going I am, my hair (depending on how long its been since I cut it), my deep blue eyes that carry you away to a far off land where nothing can harm you and magical talking animals serve you your every wish

Books: Geek Love, Ender's Game, The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay and many many others, always looking for a new suggestion to pique my interest.

Movies: Army of Darkness, Fear and Loathing, Nausica, Heavenly Creatures, Gomorrah as well as many many others, in fact the idea of favorites is a bit silly to me

Music: I like music of all kinds, and I can't say there is a genre I won't listen to under any circumstance (even the most saccharine pop has its moments), but at the same time I don't have any bands I follow that closely, I just like to listen.

Food: If I weren't becoming a scientist I would become a Chef, I LOVE food, all kinds, and I'm always pushing myself to try new things, even if I haven't liked them in the past.
