My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I spend my days in and above the clouds in airplanes. My free time on the ice playing hockey, in the yard relaxing or playing with my boys, in the kitchen creating something that I will likely get in trouble for not being able to make the same way again, or investing my remaining energy into whatever else captures my interest and intrigue.

I wish I had more time for traveling to places I've never seen, places I've been to and miss like the secluded islands of the Bahamas and eating lobster in bare feet on the beach of Anegada ... just to name a few. One of these days I'm going to start diving again, once I find a new dive buddy ;) anyone???

I used to spend my days in a suit driving a desk and an occasional evening rockin' a tux, so I clean up nice too!

Recently, I changed careers. Checked out of the marketing strategy field to pursue my one true passion in life. I always thought it was a load of BS listening to someone say "if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life... blah, blah, blah ..." But now I do, and they were right!!

I have so many interests and am always seeking out new adventures and challenges. Enough writing, it might be easier just to show you! :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living and loving life! I recently jumped ship from running a firm I founded and changed careers into professional aviation. After selling my last plane I thought I'd never fly again, but now I actually get paid to do what I love!

I'm also sharing custody of my two amazing boys and trying to be the best father I can to them. They are the center of my life and make me so proud :)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
In no particular order ...

Breaking things (not airplanes) ... for some unexplained reason I chose to renovate my last home and it seems I can tear anything apart, yet only some things I can put back together in a way they can be used again! I'm working on this :)

Cooking ... I love to cook. Crazy as it sounds, spending a free afternoon in the kitchen making something new for myself, or preparing a meal for friends and family is how I relax ... not so enthusiastic about cleaning up after using every possible pot and pan ... but I express my creativity in the kitchen and have a history of getting in trouble for never being able to make the same thing the same way again. I'll take that as a compliment ;)

Flying airplanes ... I started flying lessons when I was 15, and after selling my last airplane I trained for my commercial and flight instructor licenses and am now flying professionally. There is nothing like helping someone achieve a dream that they never thought they could achieve. It is one of the most rewarding things I have done in my life, other than ...

Being a Dad ... I have two boys and I cherish every moment with them. Honestly, I don't know if I'm "really good at" this but I do my best to navigate every phase they go through and pour every ounce of my energy into raising them.

And there's so much more I'm really, REALLY good at ... but let's save that for a date :)

I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, I heard through the sewing circle at work that someone said I looked like the guy from the movie "The Hangover" ... so, I'm looking for a temporary Mike Tyson face tattoo that I can walk in wearing some morning!

I just read "Fearless" and it is the most inspiring, yet heartbreaking book I have read in years. I read constantly, but most of it lately has been for professional development.

I don't really watch much television. I'm more of a movie person, but I've been catching up on Weeds, Californication, 30 Rock and The Office on Netflix lately. I have a huge range of musical tastes and have been listening to a lot of 80's rock, alternative and classic rock lately.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My kids
Great friends
Good food
My pilot's license
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Living life to the fullest and making the most of the little time we have here
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
More often than not, I'm relaxing at home with my friends and getting ready for Saturday... this needs to change ;)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It wouldn't be private if I put it on the internet

I'm looking to get to know a great woman ... interesting, unique, caring and fun to spend time with and share life's moments, laughter and more together. If that sounds like what you're looking for in a guy, you should send me a note.
