*Sigh* This is the real test, isn't it? How do you choose how to describe yourself to correctly convey who you are? Do I try to go for witty and charming? Maybe I should shoot for confidence. Women like that, right? Hmmm... Maybe I should instead go for the completely unexpected -- honest.

So here it is. I'm a guy. I'm human. I've lived a lot of life, learned a lot from it, and I've got a hell of a lot more to go... both in the living and the learning. In making a living, I'm an environmental consultant, a part time antiques dealer, and a landlord (how's that for eclectic?). I am fortunate that I have achieved much success in my life in both my career and in volunteer work. I'm happy to have built a legacy of saving thousands of acres of environmentally sensitive land, and historic buildings and sites that will survive me long after I'm gone. I wouldn't trade away any of that... but I've missed out in a few other important life areas, and man, would I like to change that now!

Like I said, I'm human, so I've made my share of mistakes. My biggest all-time colossal mistake was getting myself involved in a loveless, sexless marriage -- which is mind boggling to me because I'm a HUGE fan of both love and sex! I'm still not sure how I managed to screw that up, but somehow I get the sense that I'm not the only one on OKC that screwed up that way. Ya know?

Note #1: I specified a younger age range below, but please don't judge me harshly! There's a practical, logical reason why I did that. That's for the OKC computer. I'm open to a wide age range -- and I can search the profiles closer to my age on my own. Specifying the younger age range below programs the computer search to show me the women in the younger range that are interested in men my age. I've learned it's the only way to use the OKC computer to find potential suitable matches within a younger age range. I'm also interested in women in their 50s, but I will say I'm NOT looking for women who are looking to wind down after having raised a family, and find someone to spend their twilight years with. That's not me! But if you're a youthful 50-something with a passion for living each and every day, then I'm still as interested in talking to you as I am in talking to younger women.

Note #2: I actually currently live in Warwick, NY. I also own a rental house in Saddle Brook (where I grew up) that I may be moving back to soon, and I'm using that location here for privacy reasons.

I hate this question. How do answer without sounding like you're bragging? Okay... how about I just say a lot of different things, because it really is true, and leave that for you to discover as we get to know each other? But, yeah, I've learned in my lifetime how to do many things well, some for necessity (it's called being a home owner), some for my career, some for fighting for various causes, and yes, even some for pleasure. I'm good at conversation, and loved to be challenged and always eager to learn more. My years have also taught me how to please a woman. I am a diehard romantic. If you manage to capture my heart, be prepared. You will be loved deeply and completely, and you will know it every single day.

(Okay, you can stop laughing now. It wasn't THAT funny. :-P)

You name a Broadway musical; I probably like it. (No, I'm NOT gay!) I can even belt out a few songs by heart, and manage to get applause! (I once got a standing ovation for singing "Cabaret" at a piano bar in Greenwich Village -- a moment I will NEVER forget.) I like a wide genre of movies from really great films like "The King's Speech" to light romantic comedies. You want to see it? I'll go! A few classic favorites, though, include The Wizard of Oz, Harold & Maude, Gone With The Wind, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I like classic rock, and old progressive rock like ELP, the Who, Yes... and I really like so much of the current music that's out there. Music has finally come back around to being good again! But I'll also enjoy myself at an opera, a classical concert, or a dance performance like Dance Theater of Harlem, or Jennifer Mueller and The Works. I'm very eclectic. Food? I'm all for finding a good restaurant -- there's PLENTY of them here in Warwick! -- but I can also eat pizza nearly every day of the week!

2. Love. It's what sustains us, and keeps us alive.
3. Humor, often finding it in every day life.
4. Money's pretty necessary, too, but not the goal.
5. Stimulation. Intellectual, cultural, sexual.
6. Let's make the last one human companionship. To have not just a lover, but a best friend. And to have friends and family around us.

my work, because my clients would be upset if I didn't. And I'm constantly checking eBay, for things I'm bidding on, and selling as well (mostly antique postcards). I also think about how nice it would be to get a message from an OKC woman that's actually in the US!

Is there really such a thing as "typical"? I'm pretty much up for anything, and I hope it never gets to the point of being "typical". I promise whatever we do, I'll do my part to make it special, whether it's going to dinner and a Broadway play, hanging out in a bar dancing to a house band, or staying at home with a bottle of wine in front of a roaring fire.

I saw an article recently that women on dating sites can get turned on by a new "measurement" in deciding a mate -- credit score! I guess that would be considered private now, wouldn't it? Okay... so according to TransUnion (I couldn't get Experian or Equifax for free), my current credit score is 945. Bet you're gettin' all hot and bothered now, huh? ;-)

Message me if you want to impress me by sending the first message -- I think taking the initiative is an extremely sexy quality in a woman! I'll admit it -- I'm looking for that elusive woman; intelligent, highly educated, sensual, loving, cultured, but grounded and down to earth, who can equally handle herself at an event in a l.b.d. as well as in hiking boots on a trail, a woman who is completely engaged in life, and cares about the world around her... someone from whom I can learn and be stimulated by, and who is open to learning from me. I am NOT looking for a partner to enter some arbitrary "phase" which sounds like a countdown to death. I have no kids (yet) and have a TON of living to do!
