I live to laugh about love... You care for that? I thought that was a rather terrible attempt at alliteration. However, now that I've broken the ice, I feel that I have your attention. I'm a man who enjoys the simple things in life. I like certain material/tangible items in my life, but I care about my family and friends. I'm the one you can count on to be there for you during the ups AND downs. I'm passionate about everything I like and don't like in life. I'm open to trying new things as well as keeping to my favorites. I'm a spontaneous guy who loves beer and wine. I crave sports and everything about sports, but I also love a great book to read in front of the fire on a cold, winter night.

Oh, did I mention I love to laugh? I really do. Great conversations leading to laughter is quite an invaluable quality.

I'm enjoying what life brings my way. I treat it like a poker game. I'm usually willing to raise and double down. Sometimes I'll fold. Sometimes I'll call. However, no matter how great or crappy the hand I'm dealt, I learn to make the best of it. For those who get this, apparently I sound like a classic Kenny Rogers song called "The Gambler."

Books: Survivor, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Godfather, Percy Jackson & The Olympians, The Heroes of Olympus, The Help, Fight Club, Last Words, The Yankee Years, Killing Floor, The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, The Bad Guys Won, Shock Value, Sandy Koufax: A Lefty's Legacy, The Last Boy... I'm quite the voracious reader for the past few years after despising reading while growing up.

Movies: Forrest Gump, The King's Speech, The Princess Bride, Chinatown, Ferris Bueller's Day, Memento, The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, Dodgeball, Inglourious Basterds, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, Across the Universe, Despicable Me, any Disney/Pixar movie (let's not kid ourselves. come on!)... and many others. I'm a movie buff in a nutshell.

Shows: Friends, Seinfeld, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, Justified, How I Met Your Mother, Mike & Molly, Game of Thrones, Arrested Development, The Americans, Breaking Bad (only seen a couple episodes but making my way towards the new season).

Music: Classic rock, country, metal, alternative, hip-hop/rap, R&B, jazz, blues, progressive... just about anything... I'm on a big country kick lately. Love me some Jason Aldean, Zac Brown Band, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood, Jake Owen, Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert and some Taylor Swift. Yes, you read that last one. This is not a dream. It's a guilty pleasure to some. I'm not ashamed to like damn good music.

Food: Italian, Mexican, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Greek, Thai, American, etc. Too many to list, but new food is always fun to try. I'm really keen on learning new recipes to cook and bake. Maybe you can relay some my way and I'll do the same.
