I'm friendly, low-maintenance and like to have a good time. My friends know me to be easy going, energetic and social.
I'm an up for anything kind of girl. I don't need a lot to make me happy-- give me the outdoors and some good friends and I'm content.

I graduated from college last spring, and am currently job searching/working at a bookstore.

Right now I'm sensing a return to school...maybe some sort of anthropology or international studies type degree that gives me knowledge for field work to help create better, more sustainable lives for people in developing countries.
(If you know how to narrow that down PLEASE tell me...I'm lost! haha)

I mainly hope to find a career where I can continue to do what I love: helping people.

I love to write! Sometimes I write in Spanish, although my grammar needs a lot of work. I suppose whether or not I'm good at it is up to the reader though.

I'm tall...I'm about 6ft 2, and NO-- I don't play basketball. But I did play volleyball and did swim team for 16 years!
But I'm more than my height, and I don't particularly like it.

Books: A Prayer for Owen Meany, Mountains Beyond Mountains, Half the Sky, Cutting for Stone

Music: The Black Keys, Shakira (preferably her older stuff), Mumford & Sons, Florence and the Machine, Of Monsters and Men...pretty much open to anything though...

Food: Avocados...I'm obsessed.

Basically for any category I won't knock it till I try it...so I'm pretty open.

1) My friends! (I love being around people, so life would be a bummer without these kids)
2)A paper and pen. I'm always writing stuff down and getting ideas
3) The internet in general...I will admit I waste too much time here
4) Food. Not gonna lie, I'm always hungry...I'm NOT one of those girls who doesn't eat!
5) Being outside. I think better and am happier in nature
6) INTELLECTUAL CONVERSATION....I like people to challenge me, my brain and my beliefs.

I spend a hell of a lot of time reading/writing and thinking about poverty and human rights, specifically for education in developing countries. I think it's wrong someone should be denied basic human rights--clean water, shelter, food, education--because they were born in the wrong longitude and latitude...
Recently I've spent a lot of time in Honduras building schools and teaching English. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I'm not afraid to speak up and fight for a cause I believe in.
This is probably way too intense for a dating profile, but it's a huge part of my life....so I guess it comes with the package?

No such thing as a typical friday night!
But mostly i'm out goofing off with friends, be it out at bars or just chilling around someone's apartment. I love to socialize, and I do enjoy partying, but not everyday. I value chill time with my friends, hiking or hanging around.

I have a totally irrational fear of butterflies.
They are terrifying.
