My self-summary
I have a cat and named him Kafka so if the landlord ever asked about him I could say 'That's my brother, he just woke up one morning to find himself transformed into a cat.' (He does actually live with my brother now, so it's all very confusing). Sorry, that's a bad joke. I'm very good at them.

I am originally from Australia, but live in Berlin nowadays, and I do speak German but cannot be bothered translating this whole profile.

My most hated vehicle is the Porsche Cayenne. If you like the Porsche Cayenne, we can never be.
What I’m doing with my life
I do a bit of this and that. I study a few different things - classics, genetics, and philosophy, mainly.

Outside of work and study I spend a lot of time drinking coffee, hanging out with my friends, eating avocado on toast, doing my nails, chilling with my cat (or currently, replacement cat shaped cushion), baking, and writing nonsense.

I occasionally spend hours on the internet looking at cat gifs because I am pretty sure that is what the internet was invented for.
I’m really good at
burning toast

drinking wine
The first things people usually notice about me
Presumably my sharp wit and intelligence
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Authors/writer things: Neil Gaiman, Diana Wynne Jones, Franz Kafka, HP Lovecraft, Alan Turing, Haruki Murakami, China Mieville

Music-wise? A lot of things. Super Furry Animals, Gruff Rhys, New Order, Angel Haze, M.I.A., some electro stuff, a lot of shameless pop.

I really love the X-Files. A lot. And shows like Wire In The Blood/Silent Witness/Waking the Dead/etc.

And I watch whatever happens to be on ABC iView or Netflix, mostly. I often watch a lot of the Hollywood 'Sexy People Fighting Crime' shows. They're great. They're sexy people AND they're fighting crime! What a crazy combination.
The six things I could never do without
My cat
feminism (intersectional)
Pen and paper
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Science. Cats? Cat scientists?

conspiracy theories. I am not a conspiracy theorist but I love reading about weird as fuck conspiracy theories.

also: lovin' me some feminisms. (also p.s. if you really like 'hilariously edgy' or 'non-PC' jokes about rape or racism, we probably won't get along)
On a typical Friday night I am
At a house party. At a bar. Or watching some really, really, godawful TV (at home, preferably with my cat. obviously)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a bit worried that I'm turning into a bona-fide cat lady at the ripe old age of 23.
You should message me if
you are chill. I like chill people

also I love beards (the literal ones)
