My self-summary Propose an edit

I am a Denver native (though I spent my first week and a half in Seattle)who is making a concerted effort to explore more of the city. As those who have grown up in one place may have found, I have a limited comfort zone from which I would like to step out. I enjoy movies, museums, coffee shops, the requisite dive bars, etc.

I would like to find someone who enjoys life's little pleasures like a perfectly blue sky or swinging in the park. I am well educated and value that quality in others. The same can be said for a sarcastic sense of humor. I am also just incredibly goofy most of the time. I've devoted my life to playing with playdough and reading Green Eggs and Ham. Completely serious, always appropriate, adult types make me nervous.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Preschool teacher by trade- I feel incredibly lucky that I have a passion for my job. I'm not so passionate about the fact that I work for peanuts.
I'm still working on finding the balance between the me that has to wake up at 5am, and the me that loves to have a crazy night out. Such is the life of a 20-something, I suppose.

I'm really good at lots of things- primarily being awesome. Others might say that I'm a good friend, influence, giggler, and sounding board. And I make the world's best chocolate chip cookies- seriously.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

My favorite books are memoirs. I love to step into someone else's life for a few hundred pages. I like many different kinds of movies, but NO HORROR (not in a cute way, either- so don't get any ideas). I would say that "Corrina, Corrina," "The Sound of Music" and "PCU" all hit the top of my list. As far as music is concerned, I really enjoy things that are supposed to be appreciated only ironically- read Journey, Phil Collins, British boy bands, etc.

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

Sunshine, hugs, laughter, a comfortable bed, books, and anything else that makes me smile or think (preferably both).
