I actually like working in DC, though I hate that it doesn't have Congressional representation (that comment probably says a bit about me), which is why I live in Silver Spring -- right across the border, where I get some pretty decent members of Congress, and the downtown "Silver Sprung." I've been here since 2001, and I still love it. I am hard working, dedicated, and determined
What I’m doing with my life
First job in DC was six years in the media relations department of
a national non-profit organization that advocates on civil
liberties issues, I did press/communications work for a very
progressive Member of Congress, did a stint with a national
political campaign, and am now working for the federal

you actually care about. I'm also involved with a few local
organizations, and try to stay on top of the issues.
