OVER 40, PLEASE!!

I am ready for a fun, genuine dating life
but only with someone who is ready for
me. I believe love is patient, kind,
forgiving, honest, and trusting. Give me
your heart and you will have mine. I
travel A LOT but when I'm home, I'm
yours. My ideal is a gentleman who's a
non-smoker, smart, intelligent, great
communicator, witty, educated (college
completed), and charismatic with nice
teeth. Yes, nice teeth - that's one of the
things on my list, and yes, I have a list. I
am looking for someone who gives
respect and most definitely respects his
relationship. Someone who adores
children and dogs is a plus. I have a
passion for volunteering (although my
personal time is very limited) and would
like to meet someone with that same
passion. I'm trying to save the world one
starfish at a time. I believe in giving back
and doing what's needed to help a
person in need. Favorite body parts - a
strong back and a soft smile...those are
great.

I do have high expectations but am not
high maintenance. I'm a rather simple
person. My idea of a great date would be
a drive to the coast on a cool fall day and
watch the sunset. I'd prefer beautiful
wildflowers to a diamond bracelet or an
afternoon sipping coffee in a cafe to a
dinner of caviar and champagne if the
company is right.

My favorite and probably the best
compliment is when someone tells me
I'm beautiful. To me, that means more
than just physical. It's my soul that
shows through and that's pretty hard to
top.

I love indie and foreign films. I love early
morning walks, the feel of grass between
my toes, the look and feel of my natural
hair, a make-up free face, and water
flowing over my skin. Museums,
traveling, ethnic foods/restaurants,
karaoke, theater. I played the violin for
many years so the symphony is one of
my favorites. I love going to the library to
sample new music and a great book (I'm
an NPR junkie) .

Living my dream! Not sitting still for very long - I'm a true jetsetter and I love it! Trying to make this world a better place. I've played the violin for many years when I was younger but have always been in love with the cello. Now, as an adult, my desire is to learn to play the cello. And tackle my Rosetta Stone.

Making people smile. That may be because I'm always smiling. And pancakes.

My eyes, smile, and legs are usually the first things noticed by people. I would love to say my dazzling personality but that usually comes fourth.

The books I'm reading now are The Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz and Law of Attraction. My favorite book is The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison. My favorite movie (s) - Love Jones and When Harry Met Sally. Scandal is the best television show!!!!! Prince is my favorite musical artist. My favorite song by him is Forever in My Life. And I love all types of ethnic foods. Not a pork eater and I usually keep it pretty healthy*

Love, good food, sunshine, peace, freedom, music. My next six are: my crossword puzzles, my sneakers, strong coffee, great friends, patience, quiet.

So many people believe that "no one is
perfect." I am looking for someone
perfect. I do believe he exists. My idea of
perfection is someone with flaws.
Someone who understands that he will
make mistakes and is constantly
working to make himself better.
Someone who knows that life is about
being able to laugh and to share those
awkward moments with someone who
appreciates him and he appreciates even
more. Someone who understands that
everyone has his own love language and
it's up to each one of us to translate it
and supply the love that's needed. And
there is nothing sexier than a man in a
nice suit, shoes, and smelling "nice." I
love the smell and feel of a clean man.
Does that sound strange? No cologne
just fresh out of the shower
smell....yummy!

I'm a glutton for dark chocolate. And I laugh at my own jokes (I think I'm funny - why did the bubble gum cross the road?)
