I am an easy going, down-to-earth, adventurous and fun-loving woman who knows what she wants. I am open-minded and very liberal. Things that I love to do but not limited to are hiking, wine tasting, cooking, meditating, road trips, travel anywhere, hanging out at home, going to the movies, dining out, going to the theater, roaming around museums, roughing it, not roughing it, camping, and going to hear live music. I am looking for someone I can deeply connect with, be attracted to and enjoy spending time with on a regular basis and they are looking for the same thing too. I am a communicator and believe in being truthful from the beginning. I say what's on my mind. I want to be with someone who isn't afraid to speak the truth and know me well enough to call me on my shit. I am a third grade teacher, and this is my 14th year of teaching. I have taught fourth and fifth grade as well. Sometimes I think about giving it all up to travel the world, but then reality sets in. :) I do like my job, but it is the most challenging job I've had. I've worked in the non-profit theater, dance and arts world, worked for The Gap as a manager, done some catering work, and worked in Corporate Finance. Teaching is the most rewarding of them all but also the most difficult.

I had hoped to have children, but having my own at this point does not seem to be in the cards. Sometimes I am totally fine with that, and sometimes I feel sad that I won't be leaving that legacy behind. I am open to the possibility of adopting. And, I'm also cool if the man I meet already has children. I guess if I am truly in love and find a soul mate, anything might be a consideration.
