Brooklyn-bred man (with childhood stops in Athens, Tokyo and South Florida) who likes making mischief, order from chaos and a difference in the world.
Though I am a world-class, bullshit artist, I don't mince words. I love people and their stories so I talk to everyone. Because I do no harm, can get away with laughing like a madman.
I like a good challenge followed by a nice drink/joint, walk and sunset. I do not drink caffeine because once my eyes open i am awake. If I hear any music with a beat I can't help but tap my fingers and move my hips. I'm a former athlete who no longer plays but reads ESPN daily. I like politics but know enough not to run for elected office. I came into design a bit later than most and now can't imagine my life without it. I like all of the arts except musicals. I love the bizarre and experimental as well as the for- and non-profit sectors equally. While the beach, small towns and mother nature all restore me, I have seen the world and know that I will only live in cities. That being said, I only live in the pretty, quiet parts near big, old trees.
After years of thinking I was indestructible, I learned the hard way that I am not and my very expensive doctors tell me that if I want to grow old gracefully, I need to stop treating my body as such. While I am saddened at not being able to push limits (and that I hurt more than I am happy about) this was the only way I was going to slow down and smell the roses. However, this hasn't stopped my mouth as I come from a family that constantly interrupts and is composed of a Social Worker/Knitter/Gardener/Children's Librarian mom, a Computer Engineer/Astronomy Hustler/Teacher/Opera Fanatic dad and a younger brother who looks older and thinks he is always right.
