Of the places I've lived, I adore Chicago the most. It's an amazing town with so much to offer on so many levels. It will always hold a warm place in my heart. I also love San Francisco, Southern California, and New England. I can't leave out Ann Arbor, Michigan. It was a great place to go to school. Speaking of school, I was something of a glutton for punishment, having earned a master's degree from Michigan and an MBA from Northwestern.
Things I like to do for fun: I cook almost every night, I try at least one new restaurant every week, and I enjoy going to sporting events. I am also a big walker. New York is a big 'walking' city, and I have enjoyed getting to learn this place using my feet. Though I've been slacking the past few years, I do consider myself a film buff. As someone who appreciates personal downtime, I enjoy reading and I'm always working on a book or two.
I'm an avid follower of politics and tend to be 'very liberal' in terms of my political worldview. I am a very easy-going and friendly person who commonly uses humor to get through tough situations or just for the fun of it. I am very non-judgemental and demand the same from others.
I am seeking a connection that will hopefully lead to a long-term relationship. And, if that long-term relationship leads to marriage, then all the better. I am not looking for someone exactly like me, for that would be boring, wouldn't it? I am looking for a complementary relationship -- a relationship where the pieces fit notwithstanding our differences. We should converse easily. I want her to have strong opinions and not be bashful about sharing them. Though abmitious, she should still make time for a relationship. Let's see what happens.
