My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a easy going kind of person, with a good sense of humor and a quick wit. I am reserved around people I don't know but once I get to know someone better (an idea of their personality and sense of humor) I am more open and relaxed. I try to find humor in most situations and am more than willing to laugh at myself but am also capable of being serious when the situation calls for it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying my career, it keeps me busy but I still have time for my hobbies and other activities. I use that free time to play hockey and softball and during the winter I help coach youth hockey, goalies in particular.
I'm at a point in my life where taking better care of myself has become appealing, so I'm trying to eat better and exercise more ( one of my current goals is a 5K).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I hold my own on the ice rink and softball fields, and most sports I try. I prefer showing up where I need to be either early or on time. I appreciate a good joke, a good conversation, comfortable silence and shared activities. Its also a 50/50 chance that I'll ruin the delivery of a joke regardless of how good or bad it is. Do you want to hear the joke about the broken pencil?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know, I've never asked anyone this question before. I might have to start just to be able to answer this.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I enjoy a variety of books but mainly read specific authors such as Crichton, Dan Brown, Craig Johnson, David Webber, and a few others.

I can just about watch any movie at least once, though I typically avoid the horror genre (not really a fan), and if I like the movie there's no knowing how many times I'll watch it, typically at home it'll be on in the background while I read or do something else around the house.

I listen to alternative and classic rock, some hard rock, mostly what ever i feel in the mood to listen to. I tend to stay away from country and rap but some select artists are ok.

I like shows like Fringe, NCIS, Sons of Anarchy, Eureka, Longmire, Last Man Standing and a few more, but those are the main ones I follow. Usually if the TV's on i'm still only half watching it, usually multitasking by reading or doing some house work. On less eventful weekends I'll marathon watch some I my favorite shows or ones I need to catch up on. I'm currently working my way through the seasons of Friends (I never followed it when it was new, so I thought I'd give it a chance).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Car/mode of transportation
something to listen to,
my mind(it likes to wander sometimes)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm usually trying to figure out or remember or looking forward to what I'm going to be doing next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Not doing too much currently, mainly keeping my dog company right now, but I am looking to change that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It wouldn't be private if I talked about it. You'd have to get to know me better if I'm going to answer that one.
