My self-summary
UPDATE: I relocated to the Bay area. Took a job in SF and am living in Rockridge. Loving it so far. :)
-------

I was born in Arizona and I've been told that when I get a little tipsy, my accent comes out. I'm not really sure what an Arizona accent is, but I'm guessing they mean redneck.
I like trying new things and have never said no to a new food experience. Except once. Was not prepared for surprise balot.
I fidget.
I'm a lawyer. Specifically, I do criminal law. I love the human drama and immediacy of it.
Jelly fish scare me.
I lived in South Korea on a Fulbright scholarship
I used to be in the military.
I like legos and koalas.
I have a pretty good reservoir of pop culture knowledge. Makes me useful at bar trivia.
I can't walk into a book store without buying a book.
What I’m doing with my life

Also doing the Tough Mudder run in Tahoe next month. Have not started getting in shape for that yet. Should probably see if I can actually run 12 miles first.
I’m really good at
Really good at learning languages to a basic conversational fluency. In the past I've learned enough German, French, Spanish, and Korean to get by in countries speaking those languages.
Really good at sleeping anywhere. I once fell asleep while on a night march.
Really good at eating ENORMOUS amounts of food without gaining weight.
Really good at helping people move.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea. Different things to different people. I've gotten comments on my handshake, my glasses, my freckles, do I have an older brother or cousin because I look exactly like this one guy they happen to know...

The six things I could never do without
From what I've seen there's not really a good way to answer this question that manages to convey any meaningful information.

So, yeah.

Awesome socks.

That's pretty much it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
There's not much I am willing to admit in a publicly view-able dating profile. In person or via email, I'm pretty much an open book. The only real secrets I keep are other people's.

When I see For God's sake, or Christ's sake in print - I read it as sa-ke and picture Jesus or God just kinda getting drunk at a sushi place.
