If my username didn't give it away to you, I graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS of CS in 2005. (That's Computer Science, but it's funnier abbreviated). After graduation, I moved up to the NoVA area for my first job. I've been here ever since, and have recently become a homeowner.

I'm a simple person looking for simple things. I enjoy pretty much all things related to computers, and enjoy video games. I make a pilgrimage to Seattle and Phoenix every year to visit friends from my past.

I also love to travel. I've booked over 230,000 miles of flying and countless more while driving in the past 5 years. I've been all over this country, and am hoping to make it all over the world. Recently, I have only been to Tokyo, Japan and Sydney, Australia. I know... ONLY Japan and Australia, but there are so many places still to visit. I would love a have a good friend to travel with. Traveling with my friends is fun, but checking into the hotel is sometimes a bit weird when it's only guys.

I own my own home, and love improving it. I had it built, and as such I get to do fun customizations instead of repair work. I've become handy with household electrical, and can do some drywall and painting without hurting myself.

I also have an interest in cooking, as I now have a kitchen that's all mine and comfortable to work in. I've been to Williams-Sonoma a number of times and walked out with way more kitchen accessories than I had planned to buy. I also keep a well stocked kitchen to prepare just about any meal on a moments notice.

I am adventurous, meticulous, and technologically-inclined. (These really are crap, I know, but I can't come up with any good adjectives. I'm not an English major, and didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night).

I'm currently developing software for the company I work for. It's not the most glamorous but it pays the bills. I work for an internet service provider with a focus on security. If you're interested in hearing about computer and internet security, I can talk all day. If you're not, then I hope you've found something else in my profile that's way more interesting!

In my free time at home I like to work on my new home and play with various projects. I also have a dog with whom I spend a lot of time with. She happens to be asleep at my feet at this very instant. It seems that once you have a house, there is always something you can find to work on.

Technology. I can figure out pretty much any technology from your DVR to plane guidance systems. It's not the only thing I can do, but I mean I'm really good at Tech.

I can play a mean Rock Band guitar on medium, not so mean on hard, and I can sing a mean Bon Jovi on Easy. (At least I think I can, and no one has told me yet how bad I really am :-)).

know what people notice?) Honestly I think the first thing people
notice is his personality. You don't have to talk to him for long
to have a smile on your face and realize this is a genuinely
sincere guy. Oh and since everyone does something physical, you
will notice that he is tall. Then again you could read the bio on
the right and know that, which I assume you have already done.

Books: The Stieg Larsson Trilogy (The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo books), anything I can read on my Kindle. I also recently read Daemon and Freedom (tm) by Daniel Suarez both fantastic books. I currently have Cryptonomicon and Freakanomics queued up.

Movies: Any. Really I'll watch just about any movie, at least once. Comedies and action movies tend to be my standby movies. TV Shows, in no particular order: Glee (recently got addicted to it), Archer, South Park, Top Gear, Fifth Gear, Family Guy, Mythbusters, 30 Rock, Community, Modern Family, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, . (Really the whole range... I even watched Grey's Anatomy before it jumped the shark, and I'm not embarrassed to admit it, ok maybe a little).

Music: Any. I try to steer clear of Country, but everything else is generally fair game. My playlist right now, on my Zune (*waits while you google Zune*), has a little bit of everything, but the majority is Florence and the Machine, Ladyhawke, Childish Gambino, Sneaky Sound System, Ke$ha, Nelly, The XX, She Wants Revenge, Bon Jovi, Kings of Leon, The Temper Trap, Mumford & Sons, The Prodigy, Matt & Kim, The soundtrack from "The Social Network" and some Nine Inch Nails. And that's a very small sample.

Future plans. I like to plan things in advance, but I am very flexible when things change. Recently, it's been planning stuff for my house. I'm looking to add a deck soon, and it's been a flurry of designing it.

watch movies or play Rock Band and grill. I may also be found
at Gordon Biersch.

I'm fairly open when I talk to people, but very reserved with what I post on the internet.
