My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Oh Hi!

If you're one of the lucky guys/gals who just happened to stumble across my page, we're one step closer to potentially becoming friends. or frienemies.

I dance to the beat of my own sporadic drum. I'm a running barefoot in the rain, sipping on champagne, chowing on plantains, singing with no refrain kind of gal. I take everyday as an opportunity to do & learn something new, because life is short and I'm allergic to boredom.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for an aerospace engineering company and love the concept of my work... that one day this "stuff" I'm building will be floating in outer space thousands of miles away. If that's not rad, frankly, I don't know what is and you need to recal & recheck your rad-ometer.

LA has been my playground my entire life, so I spend a lot of time with friends and family. Once in a full moon, I'll venture out to wherever my whims take me... I'm addicted to traveling whether it's a road trip or overseas. I'm also a junkie for music & art. I grew up surrounded by the two that they are equally a part of my life as sleeping or eating. I love to sing, paint, garden, play music, basically be creative with my hands... museums and concert venues are my second & third homes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
charming your socks off
being exceptionally modest
coloring outside the lines
throwing out empty challenges
naming that tune
finding humor in most inappropriate things
being easily amused
assembling things, then breaking them

Books: Nine Stories, Freakonomics, everything written by Chuck Palahniuk and Malcolm Gladwell, Grapes of Wrath, Harry Potter series (sorry LOTR fans), I Am America & SO Can You, The Little Prince

Movies: Anchorman, Forest Gump, Casablanca, everything by Woody Allen, anything Audrey Hepburn, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Graduate, Zoolander, Big Fish, Office Space, Usual Suspects and Inception, the Sandlot, Taxi Driver and the Godfather

Music: Almost everything except for "music" spawned from Metallica & Justin Bieber although they would make an interesting duo... Obsessed with: Zeppelin, Cream, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, Muse, Louis Armstrong, Rolling Stones, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Black Keys, Justice, Tribe Called Quest, Common, Miike Snow, Flight of the Concords, Ella Fitzgerald, Arctic Monkeys, Beach Boys, Lykke Li, Temper Trap, Mumford & Sons, Florence + the Machine, Edward Sharpe + The Magnetic Zeroes...

Shows: Happy Endings, Shameless, TED Talks, Walking Dead, New Girl, Wonder Years, Flight of the Conchords, Arrested Development, Modern Family

Food (Favorite Category): Everything. But because it's written in my genes, mostly Japanese. After 3am, everything changes and it's all about Yo Quiero Fourth meals @ Taco Bell
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Besides the obvious (family, friends, and bacon)...
1. laughter. the kind that clears your tear ducts and makes you develop rock hard abs
2. random acts of kindness. I once bought a homeless man a burger and in exchange, he asked to follow me home. moral of the story, he asked
3. sonic perfection (not Metallica)
4. spontaneity, mostly when it comes to road trips and challenges that involve food
5. hugging it out, polar b-style
6. Google
7. the number 7
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
meeting your parents for the first time and our perfect wedding consecrated by Saint Oprah herself.

Actually I've never thought of that because I've never met you and hope to never meet Oprah. I have an obsession with traveling, so I'm always thinking about my next trip and justifying reasons to not give up my job to travel through the world as an expressionist painter of sweater donned Shetland ponies by day and a burlesque dancing magician by night
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
boldly disregarding my sleep
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
