I am tall, active, and I'll fill this later.
My Self-Summary
Moved here from Chicago a year or so ago. I'm pretty bad at filling
these things out so I'll try to add more over time.
I like to go
rock climbing,
biking,
hiking,
camping and other outdoorsy things like
that.
I'm really bad at putting intangible things in words. I also don't
spend a lot of time thinking about myself, so I'm not really sure
what to say about me, oh well. Hopefully this will tell you enough
so you can figure out if you might be interested or not. If you've
got questions, just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently working as an engineer at a small company here in
Atlanta. Trying to figure out my next step.
I keep thinking about grad school, but at my current stage in life,
I couldn't afford to quit my job to go to school full time, and I'm
not sure I could handle working on my master in engineering while
working a full time job, I'm pretty sure I'd snap under the
pressure. But at the same time I live so close to tech it seems
silly to not do it.
Also been thinking about becoming an officer in the air force and
being an engineer for them, would be a cool experience and great
leadership experience.
I’m really good at
Devouring Chipotle burritos.
Eating sour stuff and keeping a straight face
I'm pretty good at riding a bike.
I can hold my own in the kitchen.
I make the best chocolate chip cookies
randomly quoting simpsons, family guy, arrested development, clone
high, super troopers
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, I'm 6'2" so I stand out pretty well. I also get
compliments on my blue eyes. Oh and people like to point out I have
really long eyelashes, although I think they are really annoying.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books by Michael Crichton (RIP)
lots of music - just no country, I listen to quite a bit of
electronica, lots of 80's and 90's
I really like mexican food, especially chipotle. I'm always up for
thai and good pizza; which I've yet to find down here :(
TV shows:
30 Rock, The office, Scrubs, Lost, Flight of the conchords,
Simpsons (not the new crap), Clone high, Big Bang Theory, modern
marvels, trailer park boys, nitro circus, just about anything on
history or discovery, I can't believe I forgot to list Arrested
Development
Movies:
Wet hot american summer, lost in translation, primer, garden state,
I heart huckabees, rushmore, royal tenenbaums, punch drunk love,
anything by Mel Brooks,
The six things I could never do without
My computer
A
bike
Food - Not because you need it to survive, I just really like
eating food.
my nalgene (I don't care it has BPA, I don't like the new ones,
they're squishy, clean canteens are too heavy, and siggs take too
long to open. I do really like my platypus though, but its harder
to drink from so I'm sticking with my lexan nalgene /rant)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What to do next with my life.
Ideas to get rich, or at least be able to survive without working
too much
how to get out of work long enough to hike the Appalachian Trail or
bike the lewis and clark trail
On a typical Friday night I am
Lately staying in or hanging out with friends having a few
beers.
Watching movies and making late night candy runs.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I've seen (and enjoyed) Gossip Girl and The OC
You should message me if
you've read this.
