I am a behavioral health clinician by training, working with patients who have genetic disorders. Every day is a new learning opportunity and working in medicine is an intellectually stimulating experience. My daughter is following her dad's footsteps and going into a helping profession as well. She's enrolled in a new program at a local college and is very excited. I am so proud of her!

Regarding other music, I like the The Grateful Dead, Weather Report, Neville Bros, Lauren Hill, the Fugees, The Meters, James Taylor, CSN, Cream, Stevie Wonder, Annie Lennox, Herbie Hancock, Alison Krauss, Christian Scott, Tal Wilkenfeld, Sarah Vaughn, Copeland, Bernstein, Ravel, Stravinsky, Vivaldi, Respighi, Debussy and of course, Joni Mitchell, who got me through high school intact.

Spending time with my daughter, seafood, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Lake Superior, LEARNING and ROMANCE!

Why I'm so different from other men, politics, the world we live in, medicine, how I can have more fun, traveling, my new car (awesome), my clients, the great feeling I get from helping people.

Usually, but not always, at home decompressing from a tough week at the office. I'd rather be with a woman dancing at Lee's Liquor Lounge. Or, kissing (I'm a great kisser). But, mostly, I'm at home watching PBS and dreaming about what might have been...
