My Self-Summary
I like to write summaries that take up the hundred character
requirement without actually saying anything about myself at all.
Oh, the mystery! :) Ok, I'll give you more than that. I'm a pretty
independent guy. I'm big on the simple things and don't mind
repetitive stuff, but I will try new things when dared. I like
spending time with friends and family, but I'm not terribly
outgoing, so that's why I'm here!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working at an insurance company, crunching numbers and making
sure they don't lose too much money. Wait, come back! Don't run! In
my free time, I like to read or hang out with friends or eat or
sleep...you know, the usual stuff.
I’m really good at
leaping tall buildings in two bounds. One jump to get to the top
and enjoy the view, and one more jump to get down. Oh ok, you got
me. Sometimes I take the elevator down. Also, I'm good at mind
reading. Don't believe me? See, I just read your mind!
Let's see, what else....I have a good short-term memory. I'm generally good at sports. I ran a marathon in 2006, and now I'm on a weightlifting kick. I'm good at not taking myself too seriously. I've also been told I'm good at giving hugs.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I like to read books about Christianity, health, fitness, and
sports. With respect to music, I like quite a bit but generally
lean toward rock/alternative....stuff like Queens of the Stone Age,
Tool, Incubus, Radiohead. I'm not a big fan of country or rap.
The six things I could never do without
God, family, friends, food, water, air.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how my talents might be better served to help others and what I
want out of life. A close second - what's for dinner. :)
On a typical Friday night I am
going to dinner with friends and maybe watching a movie or playing
putt putt. I'm not big on the bar scene, but will go out with
coworkers if there's a planned outing. If not, I'm ok with chilling
at home or going to a coffee shop to do some reading.
