My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If you can attach the word "Geek" or "Nerd" to it, I'm probably interested. I love reading, science, Sci-Fi, Star Wars, fantasy, video games, comics, LEGO, ninja vs pirate discussions, contemplating how we're going to survive the next zombie war, and many other random topics of questionable value. On the flip-side, I love to play soccer, frisbee, biking, enjoy hiking, long walks to nowhere, have been known to be outdoorsy (I'm from Alaska of all places), and attempt to (yet fail horribly at trying to) keep up with football (soccer). I enjoy debating and conversation on a myriad of subjects and always enjoy learning something new.

I've been described as sometimes shy, always kind, witty, humorous, happy (I'm a smiler), dorky, geeky, nerdy, smart, stupid, funny, outgoing, crazy, and sexy. I get the last one a lot.

I'm easy to get along with. I'm affectionate, understanding, patient, and rarely lose my temper (and even that can be considered mild). I'm more apt to do something goofy, than to throw money at a problem.

I am 40% geeky, 30% nerdy, and 80% awesome
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working - I have a well paying, stable job in IT that I enjoy for the most part but don't want to make a career out of. (I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.)

Living - Having climbed back from rock-bottom, I've come to appreciate all of the little things in life that most people take for granted. Like toilet-paper. I really appreciate quality toilet-paper.

Reading - Science Fiction and Fantasy are my focuses right now, though history is up there as well. Just finished reading "The Lives of Tao".

Geeking out - I have a plethora of interests, a lot of which could be considered "geeky". That being said, I get really excited about a LOT of things. I'm not afraid to show my enthusiasm for life, the universe, and everything.

Growing - I'm always finding new interests, foods, and activities to enjoy and explore. I'd love to find someone that has their own interests that she could introduce me to and that we can experience together.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Books, or something to read (Reddit). Keeps me sane at work.
2. Hugs <---Click if you need one right now!
3. My awesome blanket fort making skills
4. Technology (Internet, computer, gadgets, etc)
5. Netflix
6. Clean underwear
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
whether or not humanity could survive a zombie outbreak, nuclear holocaust, dinosaurs, or Skynet. If anyone else out there likes peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Why can't I be given retirement when I'm young, and then work it all off when I'm older? Sex (I'd be lying if I said I didn't, I'm a guy after all - not that that's all I think about...)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
*Moved to a new shift, so I work Friday nights now, but I do get three days out of the week off as recompense. So if you have Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays off - hit me up because I'm most likely looking for something to do*

◇ relaxing at home, reading a book.
◇ barreling through a TV or movie series.
◇ out with friends.
◇ playing laser-tag.
working on my costume.
◇ starting a new adventure!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've spent my whole life traveling and moving all over the world. I've backpacked most of Europe, driven solo from Alaska to the East Coast (5,600 miles!), lived in 9 states on both coasts... and frankly, I just want to settle down. I want to know things about where I live that locals know. I still want to travel, but the moving thing... I think that's done for a while.

I sing and dance in my car, and if you're lucky (and in traffic), I'll even challenge you to a game of Rock Paper Scissors (Lizard Spock).

Oh, and I'm VERY ticklish.

you enjoy good conversation, and have an open mind. You are looking for someone that you can be yourself with, and wear house pants/pajamas with without worrying about how scrubby you may or may not look. You don't mind me "geeking out". You have wood for my sheep. Your mind is in the gutter and there's a little part of you that grins whenever you hear the words "floppy" and "hard-drive" used in the same sentence. Geeky dorks are welcome.
