I am perceptive, expressive, and random.
My Self-Summary
I'm a guy living in Atlanta after my college graduation working on
a few ideas that I find very entertaining and being involved with
as much as I can.
I enjoy working out, playing tennis, biking, water skiing, car
racing, reading, and seeing what's happening in the park.
Politically, I'm a left leaning libertarian, contradicting with a
lot of my family and friends from more conservative backgrounds. I
was involved with the Ron Paul campaign in Atlanta in 2008.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a recent college graduate doing technical consulting work and
working on a few startup ideas that I already have some clients
lined up for.
Income wise, I'm dependent on my ability to generate income from
trading options based on the stock market.
Luckily, this all gives me a very flexible schedule, so I often
take breaks to go visit the park or other parts of Atlanta.
In college I was very much into competitive
water skiing, and enjoy it a lot,
but love just doing it for fun too.
I’m really good at
Physical things like biking, running, waterskiing (and sometimes
snow skiing or snow boarding.)
Right brained activities like taking pictures and remembering what
people looked like in movies, or where things that I have seen were
related to eachother.
Computing, fixing computers, building computers, just figuring out
what is wrong.
Finance, I can understand balance sheets, financial numbers, and
some technical charting.
The first things people usually notice about me
People suggest my
chuckle,
smile, or willingness to put myself out
there. I'll say what comes to mind. The next thing is that my smile
rarely fades.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books Fiction works, such as those by
Jules Verne, especially
Around the
World in 80 Days. Fictional exploration of economics, politics,
etc -
Animal
Farm. I have magazine subscriptions to Forbes, Rangefinder, and
Waterskier.... and often read the NY Times and whatever Economist
articles are available online.
Movies Phenomenon because it gets us
thinking about the human potential.
Shawshank redemption
Sometimes action movies like
the dark knight,
x-men origins
recently.
Music Modern, Classic, and Alternative Rock. I tend to like
songs that I can sing/rock out to. Recently saw
the briggs in concert. My
ringtone is
blues traveler and my most
listened to artists are
goo goo dolls,
oasis, and
Sum 41 - the old stuff.
FoodI once grew a garden that made the most delicious salad.
Green peppers, okra, fresh lettuce, a little bit of cheese, and an
oil dressing. I often eat california style burritos and pastas.
The six things I could never do without
I like to think that I could do without most things, I've done the
without tests on cell phone, computer, internet, air conditioning,
housing (in the woods), and can entertain myself for a while.
Some ideas in this category would be:
-my friends, I make them pretty easily and really enjoy being
around them. I'm not sure what I'll do if I ever live without
somebody else sharing the house.
-my family... it's good to see the family every now and then
-air conditioning
-Sunshine
-Water (Some people call me a fish)
-Coca-cola - though I can go without it, I end up drinking a lot
when I eat out.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How things work and why.
Perception of attitudes and everyday things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Ending my collegiate skiing career, I typically travel to
tournaments on Friday night.
Otherwise, I like going out to events like sports or town
happenings, openings, celebrations, random decisions to go to a bar
or event.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I don't like driving in the city..... and yes, this is coming from
a person who enjoys racing his car at SCCA autocrosses and private
track events with friends.
You should message me if
You found this interesting and think that you would be a good mesh
with my personality. You're flexible and accepting of different
attitudes and ideas... or at least able to see other
perspectives.
You should have some concern with the environment, understand that
I make a conscious choice to bike instead of drive many
places.
If you drive, you should know where your spare tire is and at least
have an idea of how to change it.
You like events in Atlanta and want to meet up with somebody.
