My self-summary
I'm funny, intelligent, adventurous, and confident. My core values are honesty, authenticity, and autonomy. I'm a geek, who enjoys music, art, good conversations and meeting new people. I know where I want to go with my life, and enjoy living in the moment.

I am driven by two main philosophies:
1: Know more today about the world than I knew yesterday
2: Along the way, lessen the suffering of others.
What I’m doing with my life
By day, I'm an engineer who solves hard problems that no one's figured out before. If hollywood made a movie about my life, I'd likely be portrayed as one of those rebellious hackers. What I find most rewarding about my work is the interesting challenges, and I get paid to learn everyday.

I'm new to the San Francisco area. Do you have any recommendations of places to visit?

I gravitate toward new experiences and exciting adventure. I'm passionate about learning and experiencing excitement. My bosses have described me as "being attracted to interesting shiny things. I've gone sky diving, white water rafting, attended bar tending school, art lessons, guitar lessons, living social adrenaline rush weekend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hC-fwTnsZPM

On weekends I'm out exploring, smiling at the recommended movies for my zip code on Netflix, robbing banks, checking out an interesting bars/groupon/living social events. However I can resemble a sloth before the crack of noon Saturday and Sunday mornings.
I’m really good at
Well besides breathing and blinking I can do several other interesting things. As the username indicates, I was once a pretty bad ass hopscotch champion in 3rd grade. I've been told I make a mean pillow fort. Oh I might be one of those remarkably talented geeks with computers. My geeky computer class I teach https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=112oH-Bn5Y4&list=PLUFkSN0XLZ-kPylwy-nZc1DeXH838-hca&index=1

Telling amusing and ridiculous stories such as the skydiving story, tobacco sauce surprise, or 4'8 brunette tequila golf club attack.

Being passionate about education reform in US. I just saw waiting for superman. Do you have any recommended literature on the topic? This sums up my thoughts pretty well on the topic http://www.forbes.com/sites/ciocentral/2011/01/20/danger-america-is-losing-its-edge-in-innovation/

Go watch Season 1 episode 2 of Archer. If you laugh at it you will click well with me.

Reading and keeping up with current events. I read Washington post, NY times, BBC, economist, al jazeera, daily show and real time with Bill Maher. (I'm curious about the world around me)

I rock at being big spoon.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I live life on my own terms. I follow my passions. Life is too short to worry about others think. Help others and enjoy the day.

I'm good at communicating new ideas well. I try to explain things by relating it to something my audience is familiar with. Like this
