Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I took some time to not worry about dating for a while. I'm back
with a bit of a different view of where I am going. My youngest
will graduate in just over five years. This fact was weighing on me
pretty heavily until I started thinking of the possibilities. I
won't be stuck in Indiana! I hope to travel a large portion of my
time until I've decided where I want to live. Maybe I will never
settle in one place for long. I hope to teach English as a second
language overseas. The possibilities are limitless. So, I am not
tied in to only meeting local people. I also am less inclined
toward a longer than five year relationship unless you want to
travel far and wide as well.
If you want a frilly prissy girl (and most men seem to until they
are married to her) then I am not for you. I am not a Republican or
Religious; I am not a texter or married to my cell phone. If you
want someone who won't nag you, has a wide variety of interests,
will make you laugh, and who isn't afraid to laugh at dirty jokes
(or tell them) then you will like me.
I like American Ninja Warrior and I knit. I like canoeing and
hiking and wearing skirts and dresses. I am like no one else. I am
tough and fragile. I would make someone a damn sweet girlfriend.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a substitute teacher which I really like and am good at. I
also have two boys and a small farm.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sarcasm. Petting dogs. Joking with kids. Listening. Forgiving.

It depends on what I am doing. I think they should notice my eyes,
but they may notice that I am doing a jig in Walmart or singing in
the car. They may notice that I am knitting or swearing like a
sailor. Maybe they notice that I just told a dirty joke. Hell, how
often do people tell you what they first notice about you?

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My kids. My pets. Food. Water. Shelter. Stories.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm usually dropping off kids and relaxing after a long, busy week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once had a guy try to scam me on a dating website. What is that?
Catfishing? TRY is the key word here. I still laugh about that.
Long story, but I'm sure he wishes he'd picked someone else to try
to steal from.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you want to go geocaching because I'm a dork like that. You are
slightly dorky. You think I sound interesting. You are interesting.
Oh, and I love men with tattoos, but it isn't mandatory. I am a
little picky, but not at all scary, so take a chance and write. I
may even write back.
I don't initiate contact too often, but that doesn't mean I
wouldn't be interested. I just don't seem to pick the guys who are
interested in me. It is a special skill I have -ha ha.
