My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am having flashbacks to the J.C. Penney catalog of the early 90's. Paging through the new fall styles for back to school clothes, the choices seemed overwhelming. Finally, a pair of straight-legged teal jeans caught my eye. My heart skipped a beat. Could this be what I've been looking for? It's hard to tell, until you wait the 4-6 weeks for them to ship and you can finally see them in person. J.C Penney catalog, or search? They seem strikingly similar.

After having sifted through my fair share of profiles, it seems like everyone is "easy-going and laid back." Who's going to put that they're high maintenance and a handful to manage? Everyone also seems to agree that on a typical weekend night, they "can be found grabbing a drink with friends or taking it easy at home and watching a movie." I'm going to try to make this a bit more interesting.

I love life. It's only as dull an monotonous as you make it. I love learning about new things and exploring all sorts of places. My favorite place so far has been Zermatt, Switzerland. It's hard to beat D.C., too. However, St. Louis also has some great things to do--kayaking at Creve Coeur Lake, rock climbing at Upper Limits, listening to some blues/jazz at BB's downtown. I'd much rather live life than sit by and watch others have all the fun.

What am I looking for? Someone that wows me. No more "I'm not your average guy," because everyone seems to say that online. That makes guys average. Give me intellect. Give me great conversation. Let's go to a jazz festival or an architectural tour. Independent films? I'm there. Spend an evening perusing Barnes & Noble? Sign me up! You've gotta love life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now? I work as a clinical therapist for emotionally and behaviorally disturbed kids. I also recently moved into my own home, so it's been fun working on various projects around the house. With a job and a mortgage, I feel too much like a grown up. I'm sort of in denial.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing an online dating profile. Apparently I've done a good enough job to have gotten you to this section. It's at least halfway down the page.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
