My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My career requires me to be ultra responsible by day, but after hours the tie comes come off, the jeans or shorts go on, and the kid is back! I'm energetic and active, but have a readily accessible "off" switch and don't believe a day at home is a day gone to waste. I take pride in my sense of humor and ability to make almost anything fun- friends say I can turn a bad day around. I'm edgy and tough enough to make you feel safe, yet a flat-out sucker for happy endings. My god-daughter both cracks me up and melts my heart- I fly or drive to SF at least a couple times a year to see her and the rest of my 11 nieces and nephews. Maybe someday I'll move back there. Or to a cabin on a lake. Or a river. I like curiosity, deep talks that devolve into hysterical laughter; spontaneous road trips; a good nap; both playing and watching sports; being in, on, or around water or snow; summer; pubs with pool tables; a good old fashioned dress-to-the-nines nights out; spending an entire day at home on the deck; sleeping late; chocolate milk. I could do without closed minds, mean spirits, complacency, folding laundry, tomatoes. I believe in simple things like teamwork; integrity; holding hands; random acts of kindness; honesty; humor-even in the face of toughest times; chivalry; character; paying it forward. .
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
By day I'm a prosecuting attorney handling homicide, sex crimes and crimes against kids. The rest of the time I love playing/watching sports, hanging with friends and finding water holes to swim in with my dog!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Problem solving, asking questions, listening, dealing with crises, not judging, public speaking, most sports, BBQ, making my dog laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've never asked people what they first notice about me. I'd like to think it's my energy, humor and the fact that I actually listen to the answers to the questions I ask.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Chocolate milk
Bodies of water in the mountains
My pooch (I know- she won't live forever)
Some form of benevolence
My family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My brain rarely shuts off, unfortunately. So anywhere from inane things like why you never see baby pigeons, to practical things like how cool it will be when I finally have a cabin on a river or a lake....

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You can be adventurous, but don't define yourself by how many stamps you have on your passport or how many physical mountains you've climbed. You are bright, fun-loving, curious, open minded, well-spoken, honest and care deeply.... about something. You take the serious stuff seriously but have a pretty solid playful streak. You're active and willing to try new things but don't feel compelled to always be moving. You believe some of the best memories can be made when the power goes out, or the car gets a flat, or on a rainy Sunday when neither of us feels much like getting out of sweats or straying too far from bed or the couch. Oh- and please be a sports fan, or at least be cool with the fact that I am.
