My self-summary
As many times as I try to find the words that capture my all encompassing essence, the words always come up short. If anything on my profile sparks your interest hopefully we can start a conversation.

A little about myself:

One of my biggest passions in life is Theatre; acting, singing, and directing, it's what I got a degree in from Temple U. I'm new to Fort Worth, I took a job teaching what I love. It would be great to get to know some new people, go out grab a drink, dinner, coffee, lunch, see a concert... Another fun fact, I've also been a massage therapist for 16 years.

I love to go to dinner and drink wine/beer/bourbon with my friends, but I also love staying in and cooking (if I have others to cook for), watching movies or playing board games. I'm definitely eclectic in my interests and am always up for trying something new.
What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying the ride, trying to make the most out of any situation that comes my way. Right now I work at a restaurant serving and at a spa in Manayunk doing massage therapy...

While those are fine for now I'm looking to do more in the theatre world. I'm hoping I'll be able to teach what I love someday.

Eventually, when the time is right, I'd like a family of my own. I've learned to try not to plan that side of my life too much, you just end up disappointed.
I’m really good at
Acting, sarcasm, dry humor, massage, spending time alone and being alright with it. Also, Being honest, sometimes to a fault...if you want a real opinion I'll give it to you.

Things I'd like to get better at: Rock climbing, running, cooking, reading for pleasure.....
The first things people usually notice about me
my smile, eyes, the way I dress...idk, you tell me.

Oh, also that I'm HILARIOUS!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Princess Bride, books about the history of Broadway.

Movies: Better Off Dead, The Truman Show, Pleasantville, The Princess Bride, Real Genius, Shawshank Redemption, 40 Yr Old Virgin, Anchorman, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, When Harry Met Sally, Love Actually, So I Married An Axe Murderer, The Harry Potter movies, Clue, Silk Stockings, Singin' In The Rain, Casino Royale (Bond movies in general)

TV: Sitcoms: Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Seinfeld, Modern Family. Dramas: Game of Thrones, White Collar, Castle. Most things on HGTV.

Music: Amos Lee, Mumford & Sons, Ray LaMontagne, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Elton John, Maroon 5, Jason Mraz, The Beatles, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, The Who, Rage Against The Machine, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, U2, Dave Matthews, Prince, Michael Jackson, Regina Spektor, Mika, Imogen Heap, Adele,....the list would really go on and on. I'm not the biggest fan of most rap though. I also collect the soundtracks to Broadway shows....so I obviously listen to a lot of that.

Food: I think Italian and Chinese food top the list, but I'm pretty open to most kinds of food. I used to be picky when I was younger, but now-a-days I'm much more adventurous. I love to cook too, but you won't see me cooking much for just myself.
The six things I could never do without
Music
Family/Friends
Theatre
Traveling
A Hot Shower
Pizza
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I want my life to go and how to get there so they're not just idle dreams. Traveling the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
It varies so much... Watching theatre, out with friends at a bar/ having dinner and drinks, or having a quiet night in...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a huge love for books and love to collect them, but I rarely read long books because I'm dyslexic.
You should message me if
You have at least SOME things in common with me...you think we'd get along... You want to have some adventures around the DFW area.
