My Self-Summary

I just moved back to Kansas after a few years of being in Ohio. I went to KU, and I am a huge Jayhawks fan - I watch all of the basketball and football games! I enjoy reading, watching tv and movies, and sleeping. I like to think that I am laid back, but I know I am also very obsessive and organized. I enjoy going out with friends, but also enjoy staying in. I finished up grad school in December, but the economy sucks right now, and I haven't been able to find a decent job in my specialty. Hopefully something will come along that doesn't want 5-10 years experience or only pay $8/hour pretty soon - I'm ready to embark on my career!

What I’m doing with my life

sleeping, reading, job hunting, remodeling the home (sounds lazy, but I'm not! - ok, honestly, I can be lazy, but generally I would say that I'm not)

I’m really good at

reading, wasting time, walking my dog, checking my email and facebook, sleeping.

I'm also decently organized and very good at making lists. I consider myself to be a pretty good friend - I listen, I complain, and I quietly sit around with them.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - Harry Potter, Outlander, Jen Lancaster's books (I could make this list go on all day, but to keep it short, I'll say that I used to work at a bookstore and can hardly go in one without purchasing one [several] more)

Movies - many - I enjoy chick flicks, superhero movies, sci-fi/fantasy, and Disney. Specifically - Star Wars, Pride and Prejudice, LOTR, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Robin Hood

Music - I listen to almost anything. I usually have the radio station set to classic rock.

Food - I love lots of different foods. Pretty much anything but fish or bananas

The six things I could never do without

6. shoes (not in a "I buy/own tons of shoes" sort of way, but rather in a "my feet are often cold" sort of way)
