I also love to dance and sing (mostly loud and out of tune, but isn't that the best way??). Ballet, salsa, I'll dance to anything and everything.
Music is a huge part of my life - I've usually got my iPod blaring with all sorts of music - everything from ballet scores to 80s glam rock to pop to show tunes. I won't deny it, I love Glee, but I promise to keep my love to myself if it offends you!
I love theatre, ballet, concerts and movies, but I also love a night in front of the telly. I read like it's going out of fashion. I love getting dressed up and going to a posh restaurant for dinner, but just as much I love sitting around in my trackie just chatting.
I've just added lap swimming to my hydrotherapy workout - I do 40 laps two or three times a week! I'm in the pool almost every day - would you like to join me?
Movies - I don't do horror or zombie movies, but I'll watch almost anything else. I love musicals (Rent, West Side Story, Moulin Rouge) and thrillers. I've recently rediscovered my love of The Devil's Advocate, brilliant film. Lots of others, can't think of them all :)
Shows - three favourite shows are Rent, West Side Story, and Jesus Christ Superstar. I can't separate them and choose a favourite, they're all at the top of my list. My recent trip to New York has added a new favourite: Once. Look it up, it's beautiful. I love theatre, it's my thing (in New York, I saw 14 shows in 18 nights). I'm always looking out for the next big show, and I probably go to the theatre (whether ballet, musical, play or concert) every few weeks.
UPDATE: I've realised through reading many profiles that to most people, the word "shows" refers to TV. I think it tells you something about me that I assumed it meant theatre, but I do love my TV as well. Medical dramas, cop shows, I love them all. Glee is my fav show, I'm not afraid to admit it, and I'm also enjoying catching up on shows like Damages and Luther on DVD. Oh, and I LOVE So You Think You Can Dance. At the moment I'm absolutely loving The Blacklist.
Music - I love music, particularly pop, but I have very eclectic tastes and can be found listening to anything from a ballet score to Christina Aguilera to Pink Floyd. I'm going through a classical phase at the moment, so my most-played iPod playlist includes pieces such as Danse Macabre, the Adagio from Spartacus, Prokofiev's balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet, Spiegel im Spiegel, and Craig Armstrong's film scores.
Food - Italian is my favourite cuisine. I love pizza and pasta. I also love Mexican food, but not too spicy.
Whether what I see as pink is the same as what you see as pink, or whether what you see as pink is actually what i see as green... yeah, that one crops up every now and again and it freaks me out!
