My self-summary Propose an edit

Hi Florida peoples! I'll be living here for the next few months, then it's back to...*sigh* mississippi.

I'm weird. I'm from Colorado and I kinda miss it most of the time. I'm a vegetarian and a huge fan of progressive/power metal. I used to read a lot, but now no so much. My greatest fear is finding someone who completes me, and then she dies. There is nothing more tragic in the world than half-a-person. I also think it would be pretty cool to be a mail-order husband.

I discovered a book with Gnostic literature and it has changed the way I view the world. I appreciate the mythology and deep metaphysical ideas, and I love the individualism of Gnostic thought. I don't trust other people with my soul (assuming I have one; I am a ginger kid after all).

Power metal is the most amazing stuff to grace my ears. Ever. It's intellectually stimulating, while all other genres are pretty much just dummy music. Unless it has some symphonic element, please don't bring it up in conversation...I'm just not interested. One violin or one cello doesn't count.

I've been told that I am awesome. I am the only one to tag the words awesome, the, and perfect boyfriend thusfar.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Right now, I'm working at the most magical place on Earth! I'm thinking I may take an internship in entertainment if I can get one after I graduate. I'm a student at the University of Southern Mississippi as a theatre major. I'm pretty much just doing performance right now, but I'm considering going into directing when I go for my masters. I've also taken a liking to lighting, so I go both ways. Someday I think I'd like to be a teacher, after I get real world theatre experience. I like playing games and hanging out with friends for now though, when I'm not acting or doing schoolwork.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

Acting. I love doing it! I'm the first freshman to get cast in both semesters at Southern Miss in several years. I also strive to be the perfect boyfriend, and even if I don't reach it (sometimes people are just not right for each other) I'll still be one of the best, and not one you'd easily forget. Unless you're not into deep emotional, long-term commitment, then it's best you stay away. I'm a good friend; I like listening and helping with problems, but I'm no therapist.

I sing and play bass and violin; pretty good at all three. Looking for a power metal band to play in, or start.

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit

I'm very spontaneous, and I like running headfirst into things. Physically and metaphorically.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

I love power metal, symphonic metal and progressive metal. Pretty much anything heavy with a vocalist who does more than growl (Dimmu Borgir is a notable exception). I love songs about dragons and goblins and talking trees and stuff. Epica by Kamelotis the best CD I've ever heard. Rhapsody of fire, Symphony X, and Nightwish get a lot of playtime to my ears. Serenity is absolutely fantastic as well. Twilightning, Stratovarius, and Falconer are also frequently shoved into my brain. I like good underground punk music too, but none of that trendy poser trash. NOFX and Anti-Flag shaped my political views. Lagwagon is nice for a ska break.

I like reading Gnostic Scripture, not that I have ever really met anyone else who does. If you've read the Gospel of Judas or Gospel of Mary I'd love to discuss them! I enjoy reading creation mythologies, like Reality of the Rulers and On Origin of the World too. I'm presently reading Goeth's Faust and I'm going to work reverse chronologically back to the fifteenth century version.

I like comedies and dramatic movies, but a good art film will usually entertain me the best. American Pie 1 & 2 are amazing. Monty Python's anything, also enjoyable. The Big Lebowski=one of my god movies. If anyone is from Finland and can tell me what Lieksa is about that'd be super. I watched it...but got kinda lost, not being a Finnish speaker.

I'm vegetarian, but not into it hardcore (tofu in moderation please). I also eat seafood (sushi! sushi!). It's not a completely moral thing to me, but my family has really bad heart problems, and I don't want that to happen to me. I mean I've made it six years without meat, pretty sure we don't really need it, so why continue killing animals? Feed the cow to eat the cow, versus just growing something to eat.

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

One- my music: power metal. Two- cute girls. By cute I mean yes attractive, but more a cute personality. Three- My computer, because it allows me to meet cool people, like the one's reading this (cheezy)! Four- My friends, because they mean the world to me. Five- Fine arts. What else would I do with all this bottled up concentrated creativity? Six- video games, because we all have a geeky side.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

Politics, the environment and religion (three things I have pretty much no control over). Unless I'm cast in a play, or auditions are coming up. Then my mind is on the show, and only the show.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Hanging out with my good friends, unless I can manage to find a girl to take out for a majestic evening (hahaha...it happens sometimes though). When it gets late I'm probably online.

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit

I pretend to like a lot of people I really, really don't because I'm just too lazy to actually get into a conflict.

You should message me if Propose an edit

If you like cuddles sessions (need a new cuddle buddy), deep conversation, and someone to make you laugh. Also if you don't cling like mud to guys who treat you like dirt. I'm really just looking for friends now. But I suppose if you're THAT person...it'll happen whether I'm 'looking' or not. If you are into power/progressive metal...message me NOW!!!
