I am perplexing, disparate, and occasionally obscene.

My Self-Summary

Before we begin, I must say something. I am seeing someone. I am not on here with the intention of seeing someone new as well as the current chap I'm with. I'm looking for friends. Male, single, and want to be my friend? Awesome, that's really great. I'd love to hear from you. Otherwise, I'd prefer if it were females(unlikely, they don't like me here.) or gay men. That would be cool. Oh, and I'm not looking for sex either.
Now, onto the other stuff.

I'm a self destructive writer that would like a friend or five. Apparently they are a bit difficult to make when one does not go outside. I'm...slightly human and mostly female. I like black pens and staplers, and I enjoy a good box of crayons. I do not, and never will, want to be an astronaut.

The middle child of two sea-faring and van-loving adults of German/Irish descent, I was brought up to love all things nature with exception of humans. A liar by trade, I often spend long hours spinning tales for my housemates of my journeys with the time-traveler while telling them of their future deaths as I feed them fantastic meals. A recluse by choice, I leave them to spend time with their new thoughts for the solitude of my small bedroom filled with an electronic sound that slows the higher brain. I drift between soft minds and softer bodies, staying with neither.

My usual companion is a RitterSport butter biscuit and a good movie. I was taught while a youth to fear nothing, be it beast, man, sensation or situation. I maintain that, and am notorious for going through with potentially dangerous situations. I am known to be cynical and sarcastic, often at the same time. My humor...is said to be a bit eccentric, but I'm still considered amusing to hear.

What I’m doing with my life

Wandering the streets of Bethlehem at all hours, wondering why everyone seems so on edge, and going star spotting.
I intend to be a writer, while teaching on the side. As for not liking children, there are adults that need to be taught. I'd be teaching high school or college. I'm an English major currently. I have a vast amount of free time, with which I play Half Life 2, Phantasy Star:AOI, Portal, 2Moons, and watch various movies that I possibly acquired illegally.
I also read a lot, currently swallowing some Russian Lit, and do speed sudoku as well as play chess with the boyfriend, and on a rare occasion shoot pool.

I’m really good at

Cooking/baking, playing hide and seek, and climbing trees. I supposedly take a decent photo and can make a lovely drink. I'm also an expert cuddler and avid sleeper. I have a good handle on the English Language and use it to the best of my abilities at all times. I'm also excellent at figuring out how to fix things, be they electronic or otherwise, and finding out information.

The first things people usually notice about me

They don't notice me. I'm ninja like that.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books....Oh too many to name. Cheese Monkeys[Chip Kidd], Stranger in a Strange Land[Robert Heinlein], Milkrun[Sarah Mlynowski], Too Beautiful for You[Rob Liddle], The Pleasure of My Company[Steve Martin], The Nasty Bits[Anthony Bourbain],The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy[Douglas Adams] The Post Office[Charles Bukowski...and anything by him] as well as anything by Lovecraft or Vonnegut.

Movies...Any of the variety that make me think after watching them, or at least give me a good chuckle. Most loved flicks: All That Jazz, Stranger than Fiction, The Truth About Cats and Dogs, Milo and Otis, Patch Adams, Shopgirl, To Walk With Lions, and The Mesmerist. Currently torrenting: Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

Music:songs of various genres, mostly being folk indie, soft indie rock, ska, indie rock, trance, techno, and the like. Such as Iron and Wine, Stars, Ima Robot, The Orb, Kings of Leon, The Weepies, Bent Fabric, Kid Koala, the like.
Food:Chocolate and coffee.

The six things I could never do without

My lover, a fluffy kitty to love, good music, my camera, coffee, and chocolate.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

42

On a typical Friday night I am

Going to bed at 10pm. I work saturday mornings more often than not. I'd rather be baking cupcakes or watching random movies. But I'm most likely feeding the hours I should be spending asleep on random websites.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have tiny...tiny...feet.

You should message me if

You can recite the ideal gas law and know it's importance, actually included 'favorite books' in your profile, are alright with the idea of a female being smarter than you if you're male, and are actually interested in being friends without any sort of benefit.
Also, it would be lovely if you could have a bad memory. I'm a very boring person and I have a tendency to retell interesting stories, for they happen so rarely.
You should not be afraid of me, at all.
