I am perspicacious, protean, and playful.

My Self-Summary

I'm just a little tentacle of the All engaged in my all dancing divine mission to maintain the chaos equilibrium. Dance with me.

For the moment I'm rather busy managing a yoga studio, teaching yoga, designing websites, performing in a circus, and directing and staring in my own storytelling stage show. Yoga and nature based animistic spirituality are core to my being. I love to dance and perform and connect and communicate.

I live with and enjoy spending time playfully melting reality with my utterly extraordinary, beautiful, delightfully intelligent and fantastically creative partner in crime and bliss, renardame. We are quite independent creatures and give blessings to each other's bliss.

Of the things I'm not actively doing right now the two activities/interests that are nonetheless a highly essential part of me are sustainable architecture and design and ecological politics. I never cease to interact personally and intellectually with the built environment and contemplate buildings and cities that are more healthily symbiotic with the natural environment and even when I'm busy with a thousand other things, I still take the time to write the occasional letter about wilderness protection and organic farming. I'm too innately connected to the earth to have too little time for at least some of that.

My life is as strange and beautiful as any fiction.

Also good to say is that I'm a big believer that sexuality isn't split into individual categories but flows along a spectrum that is as complex as any individual. Because we don't get a grey scale to report I say I'm bisexual because I'd say I'm about a 2 on the Kinsey Scale, "Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual". I'm comfortable with female relationship partners, but I also like playing with all sorts of creatures when the chemistry is right.

Many blessings, y'all.

What I’m doing with my life

being ferociously playful exploring the world and the creatures in it, including myself.

In more mundane terms I work a lot because I love what I do and believe in it deeply and I play as much as I can because all work and no play makes me completely insane regardless of how much I love yoga, design, and performance. That, and i'm sort of obsessed with making the world a better place and having as much fun as possible while doing it.

I’m really good at

yoga, telling stories, breathing fire, breathing air, designing things, communicating with humans, other animals, plants, and the spirits of living and "inanimate" things. i think i'm also pretty good at loving without attachment. the better i am at it, however, the more it confuses some people.

The first things people usually notice about me

are my clothing style, my charisma, my intellect, my good will, and my sincerity. And yes, my sideburns.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: the Chuang-tzu, Middlesex, the Bhagavad Gita, The Autobiography of a Yogi, Tao Te Ching, The Master and Margarita, Thus Spake Zarathustra, Demian, Siddhartha, Someplace to Be Flying, The Mists of Avalon, Watership Down, The Martian Chronicles, The Golden Compass, The Troublesome Offspring of Cardinal Guzman, Some

Movies: Blood Tea and Red String, City of Lost Children, Pan's Labyrinth, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pi, The Cook the Thief His Wife and Her Lover, Amelie, Snatch, Blade Runner, Fight Club, The 5th Element, Princess Mononoke, Lost Highway, A Clockwork Orange, Apocalypse Now

TV: I admit it, I watched all of Battlestar Galactica--first TV show I've watched in years--and it was fracking awesome.

Music: Beats Antique, Dead Can Dance, Goldfrapp, Miranda Sex Garden, Bitter:Sweet, Midival Punditz, Mono, Zero 7, Massive Attack, Frou Frou, DJ Shadow, Juno Reactor, Rasputina, Atman, Amon Tobin, Balkan Beat Box, Beirut, Devotchka, Firewater, Bjork, Bonobo, Delerium, Gogol Bordello, Niyaz, Gorillaz, Mirah, Tara Fuki

Food: organic free-range carnivore turned mostly vegetarian by my yoga practice. favorites types include Thai, Indian, Japanese, and raw.

The six things I could never do without

I try to live without attachment, but I think I'd go completely mad if I didn't at least have some other sentient entity with which to communicate and share my experience.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

how to make the world a better place by expanding human consciousness and living in harmony with the (rest of the) natural world.

On a typical Friday night I am

not typical.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I like to keep this sort of stuff out of writing.

You should message me if

you like to play like a big cat. You're not a delicate flower in mind, body, or spirit. You have a screamingly powerful brain and you're passionate about life. Bonus for an interest in circus arts, nature-based spirituality, deep ecology, radical environmentalism, yoga, meditation, graphic novels, sustainable architecture, and/or organic food.
