My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have a really droll, dark, fairly inappropriate sense of humor. Jokes are only harmful when they're not funny. I stand behind the morbid Mel Brooks quote: "Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you fall into an open sewer and die."

I will awkwardly list random things that I enjoy: Ancient Greek and Egyptian mythology, Autumn, metro parks and deep wooded areas, drawing and watercoloring, and nice office/art supplies.

This self-summary is extremely difficult for me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am in the process of improving my life. I work for a ceramic artist, applying glaze to little cat-face magnets and to larger, more normal plaques. I don't make much money, but I enjoy my job and my boss is a pleasure to be around. I'd like to write and illustrate children's books and small graphic novels for a living.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Daydreaming, being uncomfortable, and being polite to waitresses.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People don't really tell me the first things they notice about me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I don't read nearly as much as I should. Reading at least one book a month is something I want to make a habit. Crime & Punishment, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sleep, American Psycho, and the first 30 pages of Dracula are some of my favorites. I love Fyodor Dostoevsky and Grimm fairy tales.

Movies are my absolute favorite, which makes thinking of a quick handful difficult. Mubi is a great website, and I try to keep my profile updated, but I forget to rate things now and then. If you love movies I highly suggest you check the site out: https://mubi.com/users/161699/

I really like Bossa Nova, Jazz, House, African, and Classical. I've never purchased anything at Abercrombie and Fitch, but the music they play is fiiiine by me.

I'm partial to Mediterranean and Indian food. Jalapeño poppers and/or cheese sticks are my weaknesses. I find people who are unwilling to try new foods moronic. Although not trying fried tarantula is perfectly understandable.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Film, fine arts, wikipedia, thunderstorms, the ability to recall dreams, and (realistically/sadly) the internet. The internet is very good, you guys.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future, Fallout 4, and things that are out of my control.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drinking with my roommate and watching a movie or attempting to draw or picking my nose, drooling, staring at youtube/google image search results. I need to start getting out a bit more.

I'd rather go to a museum than a concert.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I greatly enjoy video and board games. I have severe arachnophobia.

You want to talk about movies, art, games, or anything really. Fuck it, talk to a stranger. I'm good at being a half assed therapist. Tell me about how you need a new car but can't afford it. Ever watch that old kid's cartoon show David the Gnome? Let's talk about that.
