Hey whats up...I feel I'm a pretty chill dude who has a passion for movies, books, science and some nerdy stuff as well. I enjoy going out and you can find anywhere from the local dive bar to the club showing off my killer dance moves. Sometimes I don't mind being a homebody when its cold outside. I'm CT born and raised but I wanted to venture out and see what the rest of the world has to offer. I'm recent transplant to Seattle and I'm looking to find new people to hang out with so I don't feel like a Stranger in a Strange Land. I definitely want to go back to England and Ireland and also see what the rest of Europe has to offer.
What I’m doing with my life
Working as an insurance agent. While it isn't the most glamorous job it pays the bills. Last summer I did take a break from the world of insurance and worked in the City as a film and television grip. Now if you ever wanted to know what a best boy grip did I'll be happy to answer that for you. I'm always trying to find things to do with my free time. I fell like I'm on a constant quest to find my true calling in life but I'm constantly sidetracked by bills, work and video games. When I'm not hanging with my friends I'm spending my alone time at the gym (I pick things up and put them down), going for a jog, watching Netflix, reading a book or wasting time on the internet.
I’m really good at
Playing Scene It...Seriously I dominate...my brain is chock full of
useless movie trivia. In fact my mind is full of useless trivia in
general. You'd be surprised it comes in handy sometimes. I'm also
pretty decent cook and I can make a mean pot roast.
The first things people usually notice about me
As a ginger its probably my hair; I've tried dying it to hide my
true nature but I've just come to embrace my natural hair color.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Brave New World, 1984, Neuromancer, Grapes of Wrath, Intruder in the Dust, The Sun Also Rises...and a whole lot more.
Shows: Archer, Jessica Jones, X-Files, Nova Science Now, I would watch more TV shows but I'm a cord cutter so that makes it a bit difficult.
Movies: Blade Runner, Drive, Alien, Reservoir Dogs, The Thing, Taxi Driver, Apocalypse Now, Seven Samurai... and a shit ton more.
Music: Rush, Iron Maiden, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Perturbator, Carpenter Brut, and well you get the idea.
Food: Big fan of Indian and Thai food..really a fan of anything spicy. Especially Sriracha, it should really be its own food group.
The six things I could never do without
1. Sriracha (see above)
6. a book
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how to make a living doing the things I want to do instead of the
things I have to do and of course what the future may hold.
On a typical Friday night I am
going to Karaoke with my friends and a room full of strangers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I haven't watched Breaking Bad...does that make me a bad person?
You should message me if
If you're into useless movie trivia, a science enthusiast, a fan of
spicy food or know a good Karaoke Bar we can rock out at.
