I'm a geek who likes the outdoors... if that isn't enough to pique your curiosity I don't know what is!

I work as a consultant. I take my career pretty seriously and have a plan about where I'm going and all that.

Outside work I'm a metalhead who loves to cook... I make brutal cupcakes and delicious death metal sorbets! Also like blues, jazz, drum n bass, some classical... anything goes. My dancing is apparently both brilliant and hilarious at the same time. I won't be dancing in public but if you're lucky I'll make you crack up in private with some of my rude manoeuvres! That's kinda me in a nutshell - pretty serious and a little reserved in public, but get to know me or get me in private and I'll do just about anything to make people laugh.

I'm an ISFJ for anyone who is interested in MBTI.

I love going places - big trips to New Zealand, little trips round the UK, regular weekend hikes, going to gigs, holidays with family or friends, whatever! But there's certainly always room for cuddling up on the sofa or duvet days.

I do love being outdoors: walking/hiking, cycling, going off to do some photography somewhere, kayaking, sailing, swimming, archery. I get kranky if I stay cooped up indoors for too long!

I'm not sure if this adequately describes me, but that'll do for now.

Working hard, enjoying being with family & friends, enjoying learning new things (I want to teach myself to become a master of french cooking!), currently saving up for a new car and a deposit on a house. When I get the house, I can get a cat - yay! I'm not a crazy cat guy, honest...

TV: Black Books, IT Crowd, Big Bang Theory, Stargate, Star Trek, Scrubs, Spooks, 24, South Park, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Family Guy, Cleveland Show, MYTHBUSTERS!

Music: quite a variety of stuff - classic rock, metal of different types, drum n bass, dubstep, jazz, blues, virtuoso guitar stuff that I don't think fits any genre, accoustic guitar. All time favourite album is Blackwater Park by Opeth.

Food: Ribs, steak, beef wellington, sunday roasts. I make a great bolognese that has taken me 10 years to perfect the recipe, and I cook very good (if I do say so myself) curries, plus hot wings, and a crazy japanese cheesecake soufle. "Almost ruined the evening - dropped some soufflé mix into the bain marie" - my most ridiculously middle class comment on Facebook ever.

Out saving Gotham City from evildoers.... wait... I'm not supposed to let anyone know I'm batman (I can do the voice and everything!). Usually either at home doing a workout before relaxing and watching some TV, or having a meal with family, or out at the pub or playing board games with friends (Settlers of Catan is the best). In the summer I like to go on walks or cycle rides in the evenings.

You want a genuinely honest and caring guy in your life, someone who knows where he's going and how to get there, who isn't afraid of commitment, and likes having a good time. That would be me!
