My self-summary
Seeing as so many of you seem to have problems understanding what the "m" stands for, I am male, cisgendered, somewhat genderqueer but mostly male identified. Pretty toes and pretty ink do not a woman make, so if you want someone with a vagina look elsewhere. Also, guys, seriously, thanks for being such entitled, arrogant, quasi-predatory misogynists, nice guys like me stand out like diamonds in a huge pile of turds by comparison.

Queer, geeky, Nerdfighter, shy, kinkster, made of awesomesauce and amazeballs and assembled from parts of lesser nerds in a laboratory. A lover of the outdoors and nature, the simple rewards of hard work and the simple pleasures of good food and company. Above all else I treasure the good people in my life, for their comfort and their lessons and the happiness of their company.

Important - I am not "woo-woo". Science for the win. When I say "energy" I mean the stuff physicists talk about, the ability to do work. Not ethereal woo-vibrations.

I apologise to anyone I've ever given 4 or 5 stars to, I found it an easy way to mark profiles I wanted to go back to. But "so-and-so chose you" sounds terribly mercenary.

Green-thumbed, practically minded and fond of activity, it's uncommon to find me slumped in front of a television. Fond of cooking, especially when using my own produce, and I have yet to seriously poison anyone.

Bisexual and polyamorous, currently seeing some very lovely people (you know who you are x :p). I'm not here specifically to find other partners but interested generally in meeting new people for friendship and whatever connection may arise. Please don't message me looking for casual sex though, you shall find yourself savagely ignored or insulted, depending on how much energy I have at the time.

Fairly quiet in my own way but making big strides overcoming my stoicism, thank you very much. A good listener, let's say :) I'm not really much of a believer in conventional male/female gender roles so I'm happy to be sensitive and sad when I have to be and rugged and manly the rest of the time :p Or less sensitive anyways. Would love to meet other people who find themselves falling outside the conventionally prescribed gender roles.

In terms of how I look I'm tall and have long blond hair almost universally tied back out of my way where it belongs. I have what I guess I'd describe as an outdoorsy body, strong and fit but you wouldn't find me in a gym working a muscle that I never use for anything practical and, well, let's say I winter well :p I have no idea how to answer the "body type" section in my details though. Fit? A little extra? Both? Unfortunately my preferred option is not in the presets - "I am a monster truck that walks like a man. With a belly. And pretty painted toenails."

I am the owner of the worlds most awesome dog, and have the trophies and awards to prove it. A 3-legged spaniel/collie cross who possesses weaponizable levels of cuteness.

Oh! Where have the awards gone? According to KittyKahboom I am a chocolate-covered strawberry of gender-balanced awesomeness (I may be paraphrasing here) and also I can cook...

Also - damn you OKC! For some reason you bumped me from "available" to "seeing someone". How dare you, these two are not mutually exclusive....
What I’m doing with my life
At the moment, lots and lots of working. Moving somewhat from horticulture to kitchen gardening the last few years and loving it. Trying to find as much time as possible to spend with the people I love, friends, family, and lovers.
Being happy and productive as much as possible.
I’m really good at
Gardening - the green-thumbed force is strong in my family.

Making/fixing/doing - most of my friends are owners of one-off originals, from guitar holders to pendants, walking sticks to cannabis pipes. Rather a few of those, actually.... Love to work wood, especially as a gift to people I care about.

Listening - the quiet part of conversing...
The first things people usually notice about me
The tall blondey fella. With the nice shoulders.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oooh books books books. I wish I had shelves and walls and rooms and buildings of them. And then all the time in the world to read them. Alas it is not so :( Don't have the kind of time to read that I used to but still love it, mostly non-fiction along the lines of history, popular science, botany etc, but also love Palahniuk, Lovecraft, Aldous Huxley (hence my nick), Kahlil Gibran, etc etc. So many more that I can't even list them so I shan't.

Rather broad on what movies I like, though most blockbusters bore me with the same old plot gobbed out a thousand different ways. I do have a rather marked preference for cheesy horror films, sci-fi, creature features etc. Basically movies that are so bad they're good again. The last film I saw that blew me away? Damn, I have no idea.... Maybe Watchmen actually, I thought it did a damn good job of scaling the story down to the screen. Though that seems to be a controversial opinion.

Haven't owned a tv in years but the magic of the internets does filter stuff through to me. Recently have been loving quite a lot of animated stuff, particularly Archer, Ugly Americans, and anime along the lines of Hellsing and Ghost in the Shell:Stand Alone Complex. Recently finished watching Berserk and Berserk Abridged with a friend. Cant....stop...quoting....

I've gone on quite a bit so gonna speed things up here. I like both kinds of music - rock and metal. Seriously though I deviate quite a bit off that from Johny Cash to classical but at the end of the day you just can't kill the metal.

Was a vegetarian for years but now eat everything. Becoming increasingly fond of game (pheasant and venison) and getting not too bad at all at cooking it. Also do lots of veggie food still, especially fresh seasonal stuff from my own patch. Indian, mexican, falaffel, it's all good. I love food, it's one of lifes purest pleasures. I would die without a regular supply of tea.
The six things I could never do without
The comfort of friends and lovers.
Useful work.
Good food.
Personal space.
The ability to read minds. nuhnuhnuhnuhnuh.........
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The corrupt systems of government, money, and religion. The manufactured gender roles, fashion trends and often morality sold by society. The state of the environment and what I can personally do to help. What veggies I should be sowing this week? How is my sweetie doing? Does my 3-legged dog see himself with 4 legs in his minds eye while dreaming?

Spending a lot of time trying to answer these bloody match questions! Multiple choice questions on morality, hmmm. I could answer these questions with 2 or 3 a4 pages, not by ticking one of 4 options......

Also wondering why there are so many "straight" guys looking at my profile....
On a typical Friday night I am
With luck curled up by a log fire with my beloved, catching up and enjoying the warmth of each others company. Or failing that the same with friends. Or failing that the same with the aforementioned doggie :p
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My apparent stoicism is largely a mask to cover too much emotion.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 25–60
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
I sound interesting, like somebody you might like to know. If you're different and think for yourself. And if you're nice. I like nice people. They're nice.

Oh, and you should especially message me if you were formerly known as steven191 and would like to continue our conversation about how I'm stuck up instead of insulting me and deleting your profile like a goddam coward :)
