My self-summary
I've moved around a bit and finally settled back in New England for a while. Just trying to refigure this place out after a few years gone. I think it's going reasonably well at thus point. However, recommendations that I've heard for actually meeting the few rural women have included going to bars to do crosswords, taking up a smoking habit, leaving town, and online dating. Demographically speaking, most of these ideas seemed kinda narrow. My instinct tells me that I might do better to just find a young knitting group with a taste for bluegrass and good whiskey, yet here I am hoping for the best and expecting interesting stories at least.

Before I moved back I did a lot of backpacking, backcountry skiing, beer brewing, cooking, educating, gardening, music-making, show-seeing, and tossing about of interesting (and kinda useless) facts. I'm trying to rekindle some of those things, and I need folks to do it with.

Being outside and quietly taking in the world is one of my favorite things.

Using inadvertent euphemisms, apparently
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The great Costanza said it best, "These are not scraps. These are the historic remains of a once great society of hair."

  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
I'm largely looking for straight-up, great people and activity partners at this point. We could play music, chat about Golgi bodies, check out an exhibit, work on some wrestling moves... Who knows, stuff could fall into place real nice with that kind of lineup.
