What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Going into the post-bacc life after studying biochemistry and economics. Right now getting ready for grad school applications.

As far as actually paying the bills, lab tech and tutor.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having an open mind, getting into conversations that flow like water through your hands, and I guess I was also pretty good at the school stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Soft spoken and bushy hair. Some people mention the microtia on my right ear but most don't notice for a while.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like lot of music, mostly punk, electronic, indie, and pop like Lana del Rey, Marina and the diamonds, The XX, Death From Above 1979, Crystal Castles, Lady Gaga, Basshunter, Passion Pit, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, Florence and the Machine, Nirvana, and Bloc Party.

Most books I read recently had to do with school but the last thing I finished for fun was catching up with the A Song of Ice and Fire series. Favorite authors include Ursula K. Leguin, George R.R. Martin, Vonnegut, Palahniuck, J.K. Rowling, and Shakespeare.

Some of my favorite shows are The Wire, Downton Abbey, Mad Men, True Detective, Louie, Broad City and Dr. Who.

I don't watch a lot of movies but I enjoy everything from genre movies to horror. Favorite filmmakers are the Coen brothers, Tarantino, and some culty part of my brain loved Greg Araki. I like to watch most Vice and Louis Theroux documentaries too.

I'm open to any food, especially if it has cheese in it and is spicy. I don't count calories but I have a small appetite so I bring half the meal home when eating out.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Car + stereo
Friends with an extreme craving for knowledge and sarcasm
Being a well-spoken asshole (necessary for professional relationships)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Other people and I don't really mean that as in I'm really charitable but that I always find out something I didn't expect when I get to know more about someone new. I've been pretty lucky in that I've always been able to follow through with my goals in a fairly passive way but I've met a lot of people who are sidetracked or don't know yet what to do or want to start over.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Going out to eat/drink with friends or catching up on TV shows. Sometimes working if I know there'll be nothing to do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Nothing really, I'm usually as open as I feel people are comfortable with. Ask me anything.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're sensitive and a very deliberate type of person who's also a little bit awkward. I will probably find you interesting if you're intelligent and not shy about it.

I'm really not that picky at all about specific physical preferences but if you are here trying to find partner to cheer you on with lifestyle/confidence changes, then move along. That is draining and I could never stay interested in someone like that. Just better to wait until you're ready for dating.
