liberal, nerdy, and city
My self-summary Propose an edit
Finishing up 3rd year law school (update: I am currently
studying to take the NY state bar examination. Therefore some days
I have time to think... Some days I think enough to feed myself,
and some days I even find time to reply back to messages. If I
didnt reply, sorry- Im a dick. Ill write back, the exam is
soon...)
(update 2 : Ive taken the bar exam, but not yet a lawyer. They just
have several hoops in between the time that you finish law school
and they let you be a lawyer. I have all sorts of issues with thte
whole process but that would be appropriate in a diary or blog. on
the upside, I am working doing some criminal defense work
now.
vegetarian but
not a preachy one... somewhat artsy, somewhat nerdy, somewhat
guyish, somewhat metro/ fashionable, somewhat of a rugby player, somewhat Jewish, but
somewhat agnostic, I believe the term for Gen X'ers is "cultural
Jew," somewhat political, ok Im kind of insanely political... I am
both policy and politics oriented (hackish and wonkish)... I used
to enjoy railing against Bush and I still believe that he has done
more to destroy this once great country than any other person in
its 220 year history... but even beating up on him and the "dead
end 27%" of the country that insists on supporting him gets old...
okay maybe it doesn't...
I have a penchant for 3 piece suits, designer jeans, pocket
watches, vintage T's and cuff links/french cuffed shirts...
Also, additionally I have a penchant for vinyl LP records
Also additionally furthermore I have a penchant for Black and White
(not fucking half-moon, or half-and-half cookies) half sour kosher
pickles, dried cranberries, manchego cheese-quince paste, and
DOJO's (NYC) soy burger dinners (seriously folks desert-fucking-
island food)
Also, additionally to the additions prior to this edition I have a
penchant for single malt scotch (lately Laphroaig, and
Macallan)...
Also additionally even more still so I have a penchant for the
ellipsis...(clearly)
I find that most everything fictional on TV is good today, while
reality shows invariably piss me off... music is kinda important,
new wave, electronic, jazz, punk, hip-hop, soul, and funk. Like
going to the movies and watching them at home as well.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
(done with) Law School... now I am doing most lawyering things
other then actually appearing before judges and arguing
.. Hola! Me Llamo Jay! Soy abogado, a su servicio... okay my
Spanish sucks but I maybe able to half carry on a conversation with
you if you were so inclined to humor me.
(update: waiting for the pasty white asses of those in charge of
administering/grading the bar exam to finish up and tell me if I
can play in the sand box or if they have the pleasure of further
acquiesced rape of my tender virgin ass....
my one respot these days is gardening... I know its crazy, but I
started growing vegetables this summer and it is awesome... it is
like my 1-2 hours a day that I dont have to think about who the
fuck owns blackacre or whether David is strictly
liable in tort to Paul...
Yes though I still play rugby (the team had a vote whether to kick
me off for my agrarian activities and I am happy that a full 57% of
the team were not so homophobic as to remove a gardener...)

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
I once cheated on a High School math regents exam, I know... I'm a
horrible person, I mean the proctor had apparently worked all the
multiple choice questions out and had her answer key in my face
while she answered the question of a person sitting next to me.
Seriously, this was not planned at all, I got maybe 7 or 8
answers... just sayin.
Overall I'm not a terribly private person though, I'd be willing to
admit most anything to people about myself.
