I'm a quirky, Christian Minnesotan living in Utah. I love to dance. A steady diet of books and The Great Mouse Detective as a child has left me with a clever vocabulary and an incessant delight for wordplay. People call me sweet all the time but I think there is much more zest to my sweetness than people give me credit for. I have a passion for movement and for delving into the depths of people's lives.

I am currently...teaching toddlers at a Montessori school, working in various costuming aspects of theater, knitting away, and looking forward to getting back into the mountains. I am exploring life and people and the world around me. Changing one paradigm at a time...

seeing unusual things. Tickling with my feet. Making something work from nothing. Spatially shifting things into order. Telling what fiber is in a yarn by sight. Speaking Geek. Gauging emotional tones. Puddle-jumping.

Everyone says their eyes, but honestly, people notice my eyes quite a lot. It seems eyes and feet are safe to comment upon or compliment. Apparently I have small feet, too.

I'm exceedingly kind. I am growing in boldness and away from the doormat state. People find me calming and peaceful. It makes my work as a theater dresser (I help actors with quick changes) much easier when I am calm through their panic!

I'm trying to pare down my bookshelves to only those books that have greatly impacted my life in some way. I'm a perpetual re-reader and there are a couple series that I've been reading since I was in 3rd grade. It's like a paper-bound fluffy blanket. I love Laurie R. King, Margaret Feinberg, Lord of the Rings, Cyrano de Bergerac, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Harry Potter, Persuasion, and zillions of others.

I'm on a Dr. Who kick at the moment, preceded by my Joss Whedon phase. I can quote nearly the entirety of Firefly. Also, I can kill you with my brain...

Yarn. Dancing. My relationship with God. Trees. Eye contact. Brain waves.
