My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Grew up in Hawaii. Studied theory (both mathematical and critical) in Massachusetts and Manchester, UK.
I started working in the city after college, spent a year at grad school in DC, but now I'm back in a New York groove.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
working for a data analytics software company. Trying to get my stereo and Linux setup (arduous but rewarding).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
… dog-napping (siestas with my roommate's maltese), adding epicycles, being glutarded (well, technically it's grain allergies).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like novels that address the fundamental interconnectedness of all things. I pre-order Discworld books and just started working my way through P.G. Wodehouse. I have a dogeared copy of Minima Moralia, and I think Pierre Menard wrote the best Quixote.
The next book I'm reading will be Texts From Bennett.

I enjoy Sonny Chiba triple features, the Marx Brothers, Beat Takeshi, and Christopher Doyle's cinematography.

On TV, I'm following Duck Dynasty, QI, Top Chef Masters, and the Korean show Running Man.

As a former college radio DJ, I hold ludicrous opinions on music.
Right now the rotation is: Chilly Gonzales, Har Mar Superstar, The Animals, Fly Coast, and Luciano (the reggae artist, not the DJ).
I don't listen to as much music as I used to. It's been replaced by podcasts and BBC Radio 4 comedies.

As for food, I'm allergic to things like corn, wheat, mustard, and sesame. What's left?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
• more bookshelves
• headphones/speakers
• Manchester United
• longboarding
• root
• a wok
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
… a fly can't bird, but a bird can fly.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
planning on waking up early on Saturday to watch soccer or rugby.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
… I'll talk to dogs while mostly oblivious of their owners.

… you are T-Rex's ultimate woman (No regrets, Utahraptor!!).
