I grew up in Seattle and Arizona mostly, lived in Montreal for 4 years, and now I'm in New York.
My interests/ambitions are rather eclectic in the sense that, on one hand I've been programming since I was 8, and that's what I do for a living, but I'm a lot more at home in arts; I studied fine art with the intention of becoming a director, yada yada, have composed film scores, and am now the more producing half of a trip hop duo.
I tend to spend my time with people who have ample passion -- big giant dreams and ambitions, like talking about them and like doing them. It strikes me that people are often a lot happier when they're doing things they love doing. Imagine that. ;)
I love experiences that leaving you asking the question "where the hell did that come from?" For example, I was rearranging my apartment with a friend the other morning (5am) after the NiN concert. Or just waking up one morning and deciding to drive my motorcycle to the north east of Quebec. Or ending up in some random recording studio with a bunch of awesome people and no work the next morning.
