I am sensation-driven, analytical, and confusing.

My Self-Summary

I had a lot of nonsense here that sort of described the type of person I am, but really... I'm still trying to figure that out.
I can't tell you that. Talk to me and find out.

I can, however, give some vague concepts of who I am:
When I'm alone, I tend to talk to inanimate objects, myself, animals, etc. I love going barefoot, and yes... I'm absolutely in love with nature. Have you really looked at cloud formations or a tree in a storm or, hell, a blade of grass before? It's mind-blowing.
I feel like music isn't anything more than noise unless you can see and feel it as much as you can hear it. That being said, I also feel life isn't life if you can't find music in it.
I don't know what I want, who I want, where I want to be, and I am comfortable enough in that ignorance to take life as it comes. It's not a concept of fate or karma so much as acceptance that life simply is.
A man whose name escapes me but who is impactful in his own way once summed life up in one brilliantly simple phrase: "It is what it is."

gitteface and archindivide are the coolest kids around (definitely put brackets instead of insert arrows on first attempt, to give you an idea of what a loser I am.)

I'm not really looking for anything in particular so much as being here to observe and see what happens. I am not someone to actively search for love or relationships or even friendships. Things will happen when they happen, and I would rather focus on living rather than trying to force life to fall into my lap (draw what dirty mindpictures you will; I giggled, too.)

What I’m doing with my life

A little of this, a little of that. Writing for a publication and being a student are what sap up most of my time, so let's go with that.
My nerd shows strongly when I say this, but I genuinely enjoy being a grammar Nazi, making a story bleed. It's fun.
Bear in mind, I don't hold it against people when chatting with them online. I notice, sure, but the errors hold little weight in whether or not you're a jackass. That'll shine through on its own. :)

In the meantime, I'm just trying to combat the ever-present threat of Stagnation.

I’m really good at

Babbling. I love conversation and everything about it. Philosophical debates, nonsensical ramblings, balls-out screamfests, all of it. It's a crazy, amazing, complicated method of communication.
Engrish. Yeah, really. Got a paper due? Wrote a story? Not sure if you sound like a 'tard in that love letter you wrote to Angelina Jolie's third tit? Send it my way. I'll fix it right up.

Oh, and I am absolutely fantastic at forgetting things, beyond a shadow of a doubt. ... I think.

The first things people usually notice about me

I've heard I look distant because I'm always stuck up in my head, thinking about bullshit.

Other than that, I have no idea. You tell me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Death Gate Cycle series by Weiss and Hickman, Everything is Illuminated, Free the Robots, and steak & mashed potatoes.

There are many, many more, and these do not represent my sole favorites so much as a random selection. Although, now that I think about it, a day of reading Death Gate followed by cooking the steak 'n' taters while jamming to Robots, then ending the night with Illuminated would make for a killer day.

The six things I could never do without

Vision, Sensation, Hugs, Art, Water (not sarcasm), Sleep, and Nature. Because seven is a better number.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Really? Anything and everything. My head is always in the clouds.

On a typical Friday night I am

Oh, it depends. Might be driving around being ridiculous with my friends or staying in playing video games or sleeping or staring at a wall and drooling.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I care, and I don't care.
Make sense?

I have loose plans for Z-Day, mixed emotions about V-Day, and once had a killer time as a high school DJ.
I try to always turn the lights off when leaving a room, and I love wearing boxers.

True story.

You should message me if

Hmm. Surprise me with something. The ol' "hi how ru" and "wuts up" and "we both like vidya games, or so says the IceBreaker thing" get old fast.

Let's try adding some entertainment value to communication, people! The English language is expansive with plenty of wiggle room. Why limit yourself like that?
