Writing a "self-summary" is always difficult, because the way I look at myself will (most likely) not correspond with the way others will perceive me.

Anyway, I think I am easy to come along with (at least, I hope so!) When I am in company, I try to be funny and make the people around me laugh, feel comfortable. Thats kind of a duty to me.

I can be very spontaneous, but I prefer good planning and I most likely have a "plan B" for vital things.

I recently started studying to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in informatics, while working full-time in IT.

Besides that, I try to get the most of my time, try to enjoy the little things in life. If it starts raining the moment I get home, that's something to value, isn't it?

I'm very very good at ignoring my ringing alarm clock. It took me quite some time to archive this high level of skill, I can ignore up to three alarm-clocks simultaneously...and still keep sleeping :)

I consider myself quite good at reading people. I recognize details and can put them in relation to each other, Gangdam...ah, Sherlock style :)
Most people are a little confused about that, because I appear to know more than I should.

Mostly rock and metal, but the more softly stuff ;-) A good song (or most of them) have a good text. Just screamo does not work for me, substance is a must. But there are also songs with no text at all, the "mood", or how the song makes you feel, is what counts.

Shows: There are so many good ones out there! :) Most recently, the following is on my list: BigBang Theory, Castle, Dr. House, Fringe, Game of Thrones, How I met your Mother, NCIS, Two and a half man.

Games: Halo (the first one) was phenomenal. I really enjoyed the Mass Effect Trilogy, also because of the dense story and atmosphere (the end of the third game sucked, though). Dragon Age and every Zelda-Game on the N64. Right now Borderlands 2 is on my desktop.
In the last few years, I reduced the time I buried in the "gaming-grave", but I don't think, I can ever avoid it completely...just not possible.

Movies: I do watch a LOT of movies, most of them a single time and never again, but not, because I don't liked them! Some of them were quite good, but not good enough to find their way to my private video library. Here are some the DID make it :)

Serenity (a rather little known movie, but one of my all time favs :) Could watch it all day long! Nathan Fillion is just great as this modern kind of Robin Hood/Cowboy/Pirate), V for Vendetta (One against everything else, fighting for freedom and stuff? YEHA!), Watchman (actually, most people I talked to about this movie, did not like it...I do :) ), District 9, Law Abiding Citizen

In my opinion, the love and support from true friends is the most important thing ever, so this is #1

For me being kind of an internet addict, access to the internet would be my personal #2

Something to look forward to. I could never be, without perspective, without a goal to archive. #3

A place to get away from all that shit happening every day at work / in the world / in your direct surroundings. #4

almost everything, sometimes, when somebody asks me "whats on your mind?" and I tell 'em what I really was thinking about, they often react with a classic "WTF?! Why are you wasting time thinking about that crap?!".

I think, you need to see this in real life, to get a clue, of what I'm talking about :)

What you should keep from this: I think in an unconventional way :)

On most Friday nights, I'm dead tired, because I usually sleep just a few hours during the workweek, not because I'm kind of a workaholic, but because I want to have enough time for myself. If this has to happen for the expanse of sleep, so be it.

So on most Friday evenings, I sit at home in front of my computer, doing all kinds of stuff, sit on the couch reading or watch a movie.

In the rare case, I'm not at home on a Friday evening, you can find me in one of my favorite bars with my buddies, the movies, on a barbecue or sitting on my motorcycle, taking a tour.

Saturday is my day of choice, if it comes to "going out".

If I remember an embarrassing moment, I start humming :) You could call this a "tell"...
