Hi, you who are reading this now. Thanks for reading and welcome to
my profile! :-)
I'm Brien Lee. And you know who you are. I'm looking for a serious
life partner who is ready for a committed relationship now. Your
past is not important to me. Our pasts made you and I who we are
today, so it is something we can be grateful for, I suppose.
I'm not yet considered wealthy but I'm getting there. I just
started my own corporate training business so I have flexible time.
This means I'll be happy to devote my time towards getting to know
you better and if we click, towards building a caring and long
lasting relationship together with you. Yes you. If we click with a
loud and reassuring CLICK!
I'm NOT looking for someone to chat online. I'm NOT looking for a
pen pal. I'm looking for someone who is ready for exploring if we
are meant to be together in this life. Yes, crossing the 40 year
old mark does that to you.
I don't smoke. I very, very rarely drink alcohol (though I've
tasted wine in Switzerland and Sake in Japan). I don't gamble. And
as far as I'm aware, I don't have a temper. All this means that
I'll be more able to keep my mind clear and always treat you with
respect and care, as a human being and as my treasured partner in
this adventure called Life.
If you're still reading this, well done! In this age of short
attention spans and TLDRs (yeah, I just found out what that means
recently), it's a wonderful thing!
I value peace. I live and let live. I'm not much of a control
freak. You live the best life you know, and I'll respect your
choices whether I agree with them or not. Hopefully, you'll have
the same outlook towards me.
I also live a relatively simple life. My usual dinners are just
baked brocolli and baked eggs. I do my best to eat healthily. I
regularly go to the gym.
I meditate whenever I can. I'm a very practical Buddhist. I don't
subscribe to rites and rituals and superstitions. I practice the
Buddhist Five Precepts as consistently as I can since I was 15. And
I have a logical view of things (well, being a trained scientist
with a degree in Genetics and a Masters in Botany does do that to a
I'm a student of Life. I read a lot. And also laugh a lot. I learn
new things for the sole reason that it gives me a good warm feeling
inside. I cook. I eat. I travel. I drive for the sake of seeing
what I can.
I spend time with friends because 70 or 80 years is just too short.
I play with my nephews and nieces just to remember what family
feels like and to remember to smile just because its a wonderful
way to live life, isn't it?
Sometimes, I look at the skies and the clouds and the trees and
wonder where she is.. the one for me...
So if you feel the same, and think there's a bright, shining
wishing star somewhere out in the universe with our names on it,
please message me and we'll find out. :-)
What I’m doing with my life
I love the feel of a book in my hands as I wander and wonder
through the worlds within it. The smell and taste of hot coffee is
an optional companion on such journeys although I'm not too fussy.
Hot chocolate, Milo and tea would be just as wonderful. I also love
the feel of pen on paper (literally) as I write and wait to see
what comes out of the experience. Its pretty much like doodling,
where your logical mind just takes a break only to be pleasantly
surprised at the results a few minutes, or hours, later. Pretty
much like walking in the quiet woods only to walk into the dazzling
sights and sounds of a magnificent waterfall. Oftentimes I'd read
the other "books" too. Those that walk, talk, laugh and cry, and
are constantly writing and rewriting their own stories as each day
passes. When it comes to people, some say truth is stranger than
fiction and I agree. So the next time you're with another person,
give him or her your full attention and you'll be pleasantly
surprised (or horrified) at what you'll actually find. This works
with pets and babies too! And lest you think I lean more towards
the organic lifeforms, technology is another of my loves. After
all, if you look closely enough, there is a very thin line between
I’m really good at
being where I am, contented and at peace. I'm also really good at
going full steam ahead, creating a new better future for myself and
those around me.
The first things people usually notice about me
... I don't know. I haven't asked them this question.. hmm...

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Specific ways I can make my world and the worlds of those around me
You should message me if
you just feel like doing so. One never knows what one really wants
sometimes or even why and it doesn't matter really, and when there
is a nudge or a hint or a feeling somewhere inside that one should
give it a go, then go and give it all you've got! Message me now or
later but sooner is usually better than later, is it not? :D
