My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just moved to Houston. Originally from Texas, then college in Arizona, a year in West Virginia, now studying here.

I guess this is for me to put my best foot forward, but if you wanna get as close to picking my brain without actually chatting you can take a peek at to get a good idea of what goes on in my brain and makes me laugh/think. Preview: random spongebob references, social justice, and more random stuff.

Not looking for anything specific. Chatting is a great first step though
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Grad student at UTH right now, working weird hours.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
procrastinating and
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm really tall. And I'm told I have good teeth.

I use big words.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love books! Currently on Game of Thrones, but I do enjoy science (Stephen Jay Gould, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins) and world history.

HP Lovecraft, Richard Matheson, Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen, Emily Brönte, Herman Hesse, Eric Schlosser, Timothy Ferris (one S), HG Wells, Neil Gaiman, Thoreau, Emerson, etc

Don't watch much tv (coming from a person who spends several hours at a time on youtube, tumblr, netflix, etc)

Grand Budapest Hotel, Snakes on a Plane, Reefer Madness, Moulin Rouge, Shaun of the Dead, Cruel Intentions, Saved, Latter Days, Star Trek, Sweet November, The Matrices, Harry Potter series, Golden Compass (the movie inspired me to read the books and I'm sad the other books aren't gonna be made). In general, I will like any movie I watch just because I love hearing stories of people in different situations.

I just got back into Spotify, so I'll let you know when I re-emerge with a completely different taste in music. Or I'll just be able to recite the new top 40 songs, idk. I like that one song that goes "ey ey ey ey ey, ah ah ah ah ah"

I love to eat anything that has flavor. I'll pretty much like any food, but some of my favorites are sushi, curry, gumbo, and anything ethnic. I love trying new things, especially foods i can't pronounce. Why do white people hate spicy/new foods?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My family (including my jack russell) and friends
2) books
3) weed
4) music
6) my best friend ---> CORINNEilicious
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I'm going to do with my life. I realized the world is a big place. I'm trying to find my place in it. I want to make the world better than how I found it. Sometimes the world can be shit, but other times it can be amazing. That's how it goes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either going out or staying in, by this point I've more or less balanced the two.

Also I regularly embark on amazing adventures with CORINNEilicious who is kinda my best friend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm really lazy more often than I'd like
