My self-summary
Okay, I apparently need to say a few things first:
I'm Muslim.
Yes, I'm really a Muslim; I'm not starting off with a lie.
I personally chose to convert, so I take my faith pretty seriously.
That means I don't drink and I'm not interested in sleeping with you, so if all you want is someone to have sex with, I'll wish you the best of luck, but you're looking at the wrong profile.

Moving on...
The first thing you should know about me is that I am an intensely shy person (at first): I don't make friends easily on my own because I almost never go out of my way to meet new people. Pretty much all of my friends were introduced to me by someone else, or else they introduced themselves to me.
The second thing you should know is that I am fiercely loyal. I may not have many friends, but there isn't a thing in the world I wouldn't do or give up if it meant making any one of their lives better.
The third thing you should know about me is that I'm a pretty big fan of Batman and Walt Disney.

There isn't a place in the world I would rather be than Walt Disney World with someone who enjoyed it at least half as much as I do.
I actually got to work at Walt Disney World for 7 months in 2010; I'm aware it's cheesy to say, but I don't really care: it was genuinely a dream come true for me.

Other than that, I honestly have no idea what to say. If you have a question about something that isn't addressed later on, or just think that we might hit it off well, then by all means, say something to me.
Who knows, maybe you'll be my new best friend.

Also, since I've seen it posted on other profiles, I'm an INFJ, borderline INTJ (depending on my mood, I guess).
I don't know what you'll do with that information, but it's there nonetheless.

I am loyal, dedicated, and proud
What I’m doing with my life
Well, my current profession is as an accountant to a legal firm in Buckhead.

But that only takes up half of each day.
The rest of my time is spent figuring out how to actualize my dreams.
"Luck is when preparation meets opportunity." The more I have prepared, the easier it is for me to recognize opportunity and act on it.
I’m really good at
Figuring out directions.
Not like how to get from point A to point B; I have a phone for that. I mean like taking two seconds to figure out which way is North.
Apparently that makes me weird...? My friends assure me normal people don't have internal compasses.

I'm also pretty good at talking at a volume level that makes others uncomfortable. I don't realize I do it, but it happens most often when I'm talking about something I care intensely about. So, if you'd like me to be quiet, then expect me to be boring.
The first things people usually notice about me
"Is he always this angry?"
I'm actually very seldom angry. I just don't control the volume of my voice a whole lot, which most people think means I'm yelling at them; I'm not, I'm just excited.

Occasionally, they'll notice some sort of facial hair first. I grow facial hair much faster than anyone should and sometimes I just don't feel like having to shave twice a day to stay clean shaven...so I grow a beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite Books: Dune, by Frank Herbert; The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas; there are many other books I love (I tend to read a lot), but none else jump to mind when I think of the word favorite.

My favorite author is Stephen King.

Movies...
It's really hard for me to limit my favorites, especially with movies, because I love all kinds of different movies for just as many different reasons. Oh well, here goes:
Favorite Movie: The Philadelphia Story

Top 5 "Best" Movies (Alphabetically): Amadeus, Casablanca, L.A. Confidential, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Pulp Fiction

Other favorites would include: Field of Dreams, Tombstone, Inception, LotR (Director's Cuts), Rocky II, Stardust, etc.

Favorite shows (in no particular order): Firefly, Doctor Who, LOST, Batman: The Animated Series, Sherlock, Magnum, P.I., Psych, Game of Thrones, Deadwood, Oz, Community, The Newsroom, SportsNight, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Parks & Rec, 30 Rock

Favorite Music: It's hard for me to think of favorite bands or songs, but favorite album is easy: Pet Sounds, by The Beach Boys.
It matters a lot to me, so if you don't like it, we won't get along, unless you keep it a well-guarded secret.
Otherwise, I listen to pretty much anything, though most of my iTunes library came out before the 1990's.
I'm always interested in listening to new bands, so if you feel like I should check something out, let me know.

Favorite Food: Steak
The six things I could never do without
- A reliable time-telling device.
- The ability to read and write.
- A thirst for knowledge.
- An unattainable goal (to end world hunger is my current one).
- Sarcasm/Wit at someone else's expense.
- My unwavering moral compass.

Note: I don't think I could possibly rank those. A loss of any one of them would change who I am considerably.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-how to be more devout
-theories of time travel
-societal collapse, and how to rebuild better than before
-when I can visit Walt Disney World again, and whom, if anyone, I might bring with me
On a typical Friday night I am
not really doing anything.

I don't drink and I don't dance, so most people's idea of a good Friday night is utterly boring to me.

I like to spend Friday nights and Saturday days with my family, whenever I can.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I try my hardest to be honest at all times. Sometimes, this means that I hurt people when I don't intend to do so.

Also, I am deathly afraid of initiating conversations with people in real life; if you don't prompt it, we will never speak a word to each other.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 23–28
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
...you want to talk to me.
It can be about anything; I'll do my best to respond.

Also, I have no idea what the icon says about how often I reply to messages... Would you like to tell me?
