One thing I noticed with internet dating is that despite what you write on your profile, its still really hard to start a decent conversation with someone you might be interested. For me, I can't get over the feeling that despite what I read on someone's profile, I still have nothing to say to the person. And even when I finally do manage to start a conversation with someone, I'm never really sure when I should even bring up the idea of actually meeting in person, because it still feels like I'm talking to a complete stranger. Its like adding another complication to an already complicated concept. Hopefully as time goes on, this thing will become easier for me, but as of now, even when I read someone's profile, and am interested enough to send them a sincere message, I don't have a clue as to what to say.
